Just saw a post on sino forum.

The black top has our monitoring equipment, which is managed and maintained by
the Qiudi Sengela post. The main task is to monitor the Indian army near Finger
2 on the north shore of Pangong Lake and inform the North Shore border post at
any time. CCTV female reporter Wang Juan once accompanied Qiu The patrol
officers and soldiers of the Dijangela post boarded the black top together, and
it was broadcast on the National Defense Military Morning

Looks Like blacktop is still under chinese control.

According to senior officials, around 150 PLA troops are deployed at the bump feature with an anti-aircraft gun being moved up the Black Top by the Chinese army on its side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Although both sides refused to give in an inch of land in Ladakh or occupied Aksai Chin, there were indications and hints towards both the armies returning to the previous positions. Perhaps the difference was that the Chinese wanted the previous positions of May, while India was clear that PLA goes back to the positions it occupied in April this year.

:dude: So we are willing to vacate all heights occupied if april status quo is restored ?

Guys read it on BRF by a member about wild guess that SFF maybe holding blacktop and IA is behind LAC so technically IA didn't cross and India is not holding blacktop..
Now chinks are in catch22 they have to fire at Tibetans(which have obvious consequences) hence global times claim of 'cannon fodder SFF'...
Everything is wild guess here so take it as it is
If its true thats a pretty cheap tactic by Indian Army.. does not make much sense to me.. What if Sff are attacked.. will IA just sit back and relax, and let everyone be slaughtered?

Problem is that we dont have any major area captured other than pangong TSO area. At least its not in public domain. To be honest we have other areas like Hot spring and Depsang to take care of as well. April status quo is still fine for me but again there are lots of unknown variables which we dont know yet. :(
Really hope we have secretly captured land in other areas as well.

The 1000 sqkm magic number being quoted by The Yindoo and congis include the land lost by Bhosadiwale Chacha.

1000 sq km is roughly 250,000 acres, or roughly the area of Hong Kong SAR. You honestly believe we lost that much land since May?
Dumb shrimp Vijaita Singh believes so. Man you should see her eyes. They have no life. She is like one of those Dementors from Harry Potter. Extremely cold and capable of sucking the life out of you. She scares me.

That 900 km area .. just like the area being patrolled beyond F4.. was only accessible to Indian patrols because the chinese permitted it.. Unless we launch an attack and blow up the bottleneck so that it is accessible to Indian vehicles.. the accessibility of PP10 and other points in Depsang will be on China's meherbani..
But, such blocking of patrols is also against the spirit of peace and tranquility treaty which forbids explosives near the LAC.. in esence the chinese by blocking our patrols are giving India a reason to violate the treaty..
I think you may be incorrect on that.....we used to patrol till F8 not because Chinese allowed but LAC being around F8 as per India. Now they are blocking beyond F4 which is what the conflict was about after Galwan clashes....but actually they did 19 km intrusion in 2013 in depsang and since then IA patrolling routes have been running into Chinese intrusions on and off....this one is crucial as its close to DBO.

I wonder if we can do a similar news report from our captured tops, surely after heavily scrutinizing every frame and video for anything sensitive.
This will surely raise the spirit and morales of the troops as well as countrymen.

The absolute stoppage of any kind of news has made reporters frantically searching and digging for any kind of news, including rumors as well as unethical ways and sources to get them (like digging out the family of martyred/injured soldiers and pestering them for coming on camera).

Maybe we can create a balance between what is currently, vs. the Burka Dutt-NDTV disaster during Kargil & Mumbai attacks?
