Looks like there will be a border war in October. The Chinese will wait till closer to the US elections. Unless India backs down we are heading towards war. The Chinese just can’t afford to walk away. If they do no one will take them seriously. They started this against India to prove to the rest of the region that they can cow down their biggest Asian rival and that the rest better fall in line and accept Chinese claims and hegemony.

All the guys especially people like PS who claim overwhelming Chinese supremacy are forgetting that these are the mountains. Here a soldiers ability and raw courage play an important role. As the Chinese themselves pointed out , the IA has the best mountain warfare troops in the world and in the largest numbers. The Chinese are just asking for an ass kicking in Ladakh. There is a huge difference between a conscript army and a battle hardened, well trained, professional volunteer army.

If any vacant places/ heights left across LAC in ladakh, IA should manuver and occupy those immediately like PLA did in f4 and galwan. Right time to pressurise PLA and CCP. The more they lose territory the more pressure they will be on to act. As of now PLA is buying time.
