Most probably IFF you also need to understand that manpads are much more suited to take down helicopters transport planes surveillance drones etc.

Fighter jets will most probably be handled by air defence systems.

Soldiers dont go trigger happy on manpads without clearance. If there are friendlies in the area, clearance doesnt come easy. Manpads are IR guided and dont discriminate.

The manpads will come really handy should the chinks send in choppers.

Indo-China brawl, Chumbi valley will be the first one to fall into Indian hands. They have massive disadvantages in both terrain and strategic positioning. Also, normal Chinese soldiers don't know shit about jungle warfare.
Starting from Sikkim towards the end of Arunachal, the terrain is mostly either dense rainforest in the valleys and conifer thickets at the upper echelons. Nagas, Gorkhas, and Assam Reg. will have a field day chopping frightened Chinese heads into the jungle thickets.

Manpads are much more suitable for soft kill targets such as light tanks, bunkers, helis. Don't expect them to do wonders on a supersonic jet at 25K feets.

They have already done the same to us we need to answer back. We should really raise the cost of there incursion inside India. With new battle rifles Sniper LMGs and artillery deployed over there we can definitely go for short scale adventure like with porks. Chinks will either fall back and come to the table to compromise else we will continue doing until the inevitable war comes to the door.
