One more communist country with nukes, what could go wrong!!! :pound:
Well.. we should try to make Vietnam a perpetual pain in China's ass.. and it would be an economically successful Pain in the ass, unlike Chinese pals like NOKO and Pakistan which are basket cases..
A nuclear armed Brahmos equivalent to help Vietnam stop China from turning SCS into its lake ..would do just fine..:yo:

Strategic nuclear weapons aren't sold like that. You are required to tell to UN and yield limits, according to P5 limits.

Why india would want to see any other country gaining this capability? Giving nuclear weapons to other countries will only decrease our military domination in SEA..
Ya'll Nibbiars literally just make Defence pact and station Nuclear weapons there.

Don't worry on that front, U.S has been propping up Vietnam silently for a few years now.

Here’s another “expert” asking us to bend over....

China will never live in peace with India. This fact should be clear to each and every Indian.

India should think as how to protect itself (internally and externally) rather than try to find 'equilibrium with China'.

Only pursuit of military power by India and unsettling Pakistan completely will make India safe.

"The writer is Professor Emeritus, JNU and former ambassador and special envoy, Government of India"

This article looks just like a handout of Gobartimes & Xinhua. Absolutely pathetic with items like India joining CPEC, BRI & shifting out the Tibet govt in Exile to Europe.

India needs to protect its industries and jobs. This will not come from open borders with China. This will come from giving some protection to local industry and supporting local entrepreneurs.

I would prefer to woo Japanese, American and European companies to set up shop in India and build an ecosystem reflecting democratic values rather than autocracy of China.

Blind import of goods from China has already killed large sections of Indian industry causing job losses and bankruptcies.

People need to remember that economic imperialism is as bad or worse than military imperialism. We need to reject both.

What did Pakistan achieve from open borders with China? Pakistan has been licking China's boot for last two decades. The result is economic stagnation and falling wages.

Most probably IFF you also need to understand that manpads are much more suited to take down helicopters transport planes surveillance drones etc.

Fighter jets will most probably be handled by air defence systems.
In mountains aircraft's usually fly low to avoid detection so MANPADS are very handy there.

When the 075 was just launched last year, a big cow pointed out that the design of the 075 was defective, and the location of the chimney would cause visibility problems and smoke exhaust pollution. Today’s latest sea trial photos came out, and as expected, all the antennas and sensors on the rear mast were blackened. The diesel engine used in the 075 is a copy of the design of the French civilian ship diesel engine. It seems that this problem will not be solved for a while.

Well India has tried very hard to be a responsible Nuke power. We are still not a signatory to NPT. Giving Nuke tech to Vietnam can be serious violation. US is very serious to these things. There is no need to arm anybody here. Better investment will be increase our own missile capability & keep improving Nirbhay missiles
