The extreme sinohatred in India is due to actual military brawl. So, if we set that side, before all this, the casual chinki jibes, making fun of North Easterners due to their resemblance with Chinese, the belittling and taking Chinese military lightly is due to hatred arising from being unable to currently compete in global influence or economy.

Agree with you. But NE people don't sound like Martial race. They do have their own customs & not much connect to other Indian people. Arunachal is an exception though.. Hindi is like primary language there. Nagas are even more far flung. I guess only British have bought them under India. They do have a regiment named after them though.

So India need to create conflicts with other countries to ease internal conflicts.

China have internal pressure from Xinxiang Tibet Hong Kong like region they have forcefully occupied.
