Rockets of both BM-21 Grad and Pinaka have faced serious quality issues.

Certain lots of BM-21 rockets saw high failure rates, as high as 30-40% from a particular lot during Kargil so the problem is not with the system but with the manufacturing. Akash missiles face the same issue.

OFB needs to seriously pull its socks up or down its shutters.

A modern automated ammunition factory with far less manpower can churn out better quality and quantity of small arms ammo than all of OFB factories put together, enough to meet requirements of all Defence, Paramilitary and CAPFs.

The much touted Smerch systems are known to have similar, if not more problems but the Russians squarely blamed the Army for poor storage conditions. More problems were listed out in Smerch systems than Pinaka but as smerch is Russian, sab changa si. It is above critique.

Nothing gives me greater joy than to see Chinese hard work go up in smoke like they did to several well known businesses across the world through industrial espionage.

The microsoft deal is only for US operations of tiktok, not complete tiktok. Byte Dance will still have it for rest of world.

I was a kid during the cold war in a small upstate New York town. My school principal
believed strongly in mccarthyism and taught the kids about communists.
My whole town had a paranoia sweeping thru it fearing communists. That kind of fever has returned with chinese and the corona virus Bioweapon attack unleashed on the world..
Anti -chinese fever has come to USA and it maybe worst then Russians . The Chinese
are a much bigger threat than the Soviet Union ever was. Chinese have infiltrated
every sphere of America.

it was late 60’s early 70’s and smaller towns still had what was residual effects of the 50’z red scare even though it was not the purge of the 1950’s the influence was still strongly alive.( in the teachers) I remember we were still doing bomb(nuclear) drills in classroom getting under our desks, and anti communist articles in newspapers and on news daily,we were just 5-8 years old at that time The present China virus devastation and fear will also continue For years after the present time.

I don’t think we did ? But I know some of the neighbors had built one for their families . Kennedy after Cuban missile crisis urged Americans to do this.
