Conflict with China will be on land, not just at sea: US general

Many people "look at the INDOPACOM area of operations as a maritime theater," he said. "But the reason you will need a land component in INDOPACOM is because it will be the only component that will be decisive."

"If you want to take land, if you want to hold land, if you want to clear land, you will [need] the ground element," Coffman said. "It's not just about tanks, though China's got plenty of them: 7,000 tanks and 3,000 infantry fighting vehicles -- 10,000 vehicles that will be decisive if we are not there. In order to be decisive, we have to be there with armor to prevent the Chinese from getting into a position of relevant advantage."

But "our pacing threat does not lie in Europe. It lies in Asia," Coffman said. "And that pacing threat is China, who is also modernizing."

If that happens, there will be a great opportunity for India to reclaim Lost land of laddakh.

Chinaā€™s cyberattack on Maharashtra power grid was to improve PLAā€™s bargaining position

Two distinctions have to be made here ā€” between symmetrical and asymmetrical responses. Symmetrical response involves proportionality in that the state executing it does not overreact and tailors its response to be well calibrated to tackle the threat in question. On the other hand, asymmetrical response involves shifting the terrain of action to one that is suited to that stateā€™s strength and where the adversary is weak. The PRC exploited lapses committed by India in Ladakh, which the Indian Army (IA) normally patrols but left vacant, allowing the Peopleā€™s Liberation Army (PLA) to seize tactically advantageous positions at Pangong Tso, Hot Springs, and Gogra along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with India in April-May 2020. The IA did contest the PLA exactly where the occupation occurred but was unable to secure a Chinese withdrawal and the nadir of the crisis was in mid-June 2020, when 20 Indian soldiers perished trying to evict the Chinese presence in Galwan. Thereafter, the IA waited for a propitious moment and responded in a geographic area more suited to India in late August 2020 by seizing heights and securing tactically advantageous positions on the south bank of the Pangong Tso such as the Kailash Range. The IA took the PLA by surprise. The seizures of territory along the south bank created conditions for a quid pro quo.

he state is also one of the largest and most industrialised in the Indian union and the Chinese picked their target with great precision to send a signal that India needed to demonstrate flexibility in the military-to-military negotiations that were underway at the time. The cyber attack was launched to improve their bargaining position and was a demonstration to their Indian adversaries that China could hurt India.

Most of the cameras are made in China, but it's hard to tell who put them in. I don't think people with Chinese face can be put in.šŸ˜‚
Chinese don't need to put the camera themselves. Throw some Yuan to Pakis and these will do it themselves.
Also Chinese are master in making hidden camera, gift some items with hidden cameras to these inbreds and you are done.

Now theyā€™ll blame Hazara community due to their facial features and kill them.

India likely to block China's Huawei over security fears: Report

NEW DELHI : India is likely to block its mobile carriers from using telecom equipment made by China's Huawei, two government officials said, under procurement rules due to come into force in June.

New Delhi is wary about awarding new technology business to Chinese firms both because of security fears and a desire to get Indian manufacturers to produce more telecoms equipment.

india should not allow chinese to ahve a free run.
This is a great reason to deny China a big market of 1.3 Bn people. Great job. reliance has already developed 5G. Chinese companies should be kicked very hard.

Don't trust congees, Commies and the third front parties.

BJP must ensure in next 3 years, China is firmly our enemy like Pakis.
Any party coming to power should find it very hard to do business with China.,

Complete enslaving of Pakistan is in process. Inspite of camera found in Parliament, I do not think that Pak can issue any waring to China.
The cameras being of Chinese make doesnā€™t mean the Chinese put them there. Most likely Imran Khanā€™s party put them there to keep tabs on voting.

MEA Press release

21st Meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination on India-China Border Affairs
March 12, 2021

  • The 21st meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination on India-China Border Affairs (WMCC) was held on 12 March 2021. The Indian delegation was led by Additional Secretary (East Asia) from the Ministry of External Affairs. The Director General of the Boundary & Oceanic Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs led the Chinese delegation.
  • The two sides reviewed the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Western Sector and had in-depth discussions on the remaining issues along the LAC in the Western Sector. They agreed that the completion of the disengagement in North and South Bank of the Pangong Lake provided a good basis for the two sides to work towards early resolution of these remaining issues. They agreed that the agreement reached between the two Foreign Ministers in Moscow in September last year as also their recent phone conversation last month, should continue to guide the work of two sides. The two sides should continue their dialogue to reach a mutually acceptable solution for complete disengagement from all friction points at the earliest. This would enable two sides to look at broader de-escalation of troops in the area and work towards restoration of peace and tranquillity in the border areas. They also agreed that in the interim two sides should continue to maintain stability at ground level and prevent any untoward incident.
  • The two sides agreed to maintain close communication and dialogue through both the diplomatic and military channels. In this regard, they agreed to convene the 11th round of the Senior Commanders meeting at an early date so that two sides could work towards complete disengagement from the remaining friction areas.
