China moves back around 10,000 troops from depth areas near LAC in Eastern Ladakh

New Delhi [India], January 11 (ANI): In a significant development, the Chinese Army has moved back around 10,000 troops from the depth areas near the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh.
However, the deployment in the frontline areas has remained the same and the troops from both sides remain in an eyeball to eyeball situation at several locations in that sector.
Government sources told ANI that the Chinese Army has moved back around 10,000 troops from its traditional training areas opposite Eastern Ladakh sector and areas near it.
The Chinese traditional training areas are around 150 kilometres and beyond the Indian side of LAC. The Chinese had maintained these troops there since April-May timeframe last year.
Sources said the reason for moving troops away from the depth areas may be due to the extreme winters and they may be finding it difficult to deploy a large number of troops in that extremely cold region.

Cold related health conditions are disabling chinese in more than they can replenish..

Chinese hackers luring Indian WhatsApp users into 'part-time' jobs - Eastern Mirror

New Delhi, Jan. 11 (IANS):
In fresh trouble for WhatsApp, which is facing backlash over its upcoming user data policy in India, New Delhi-based think-tank Cyberpeace Foundation said on Monday that China-based hackers are targeting WhatsApp users in the country with the promise of ‘part-time’ jobs.

Such proliferating messages on WhatsApp, which come with attached links, claim that one can earn INR 200 to INR 3,000 in a day in 10 to 30 minutes.

“In all the links, the same redirection and outgoing sources were generated. However, in one link, a different URL was found and one new IP address that belongs to one of China’s hosting company Alibaba Cloud,” the report said.

When the URL is manipulated, an error code is displayed in Chinese language, the report said, adding that the domain names found during the investigation seem to have been registered in China.

“The IP address of the link is 47.75.111.165 and it can be traced to Alibaba Cloud, the city Hong Kong and the country China,” it further claimed.

so china wants to shut down whatsapp in India.
Reason could be JIO Facebook deal which could hurt china in Indian markets once every desi manufacture goes onboard with Facebook store and Jio connectivity.

well... The plan of china in rigging US election and their plan to kill American Tech giants are getting in the clear even more.

Alibaba Cloud....Interesting!

Lets say..if whatsapp needed to be made accountable they need to start collecting user data.. and ironically most of the users who use facebook has already compromised their every bit of privacy..so why cry over WhatsApp?

Secondly..if whatspp is trying to monetize the user data..for integrating with facebook ..why cry now?
People should stay out of social media if they are soooo sooo crazy about privacy which I am sure 99% of people who are crying now wont do.
