The CCP never admits a loss, no matter how many of its PLA cannon fodder soldiers die. The CCP/PLA cover up the actual number of deaths of Chinese soldiers to make it seem like a victory, then declare victory to their people and retreat back to pre-war position. This is what the CCP/PLA have done repeatedly in their wars, like Korea, India, Vietnam, etc. But the fact remains that the PLA had to retreat due to their soldiers being slaughtered. This in spite of Indian army being poorly equipped, and the Indian Air Force not being used in 62, when India had a significant advantage in air power. Had the Indian Air Force been used, and the Indian Army had been given sufficient funding and preparation time, Aksai Hind would be a part of Ladakh union territory right now.Indians have this dread of 62 like many people in Maharashtra feel about 1761 .
Both third battle of panipat and 62 were partial victories .
The panipat was surely one but 62 wasn't that bad
