Yes, you can say that today after the country the country is stable on two fronts pandemic and Tibet front. But it took many months and lots of efforts to reach this comfort level, even upto July august situation was fluid.

let us be clear, we have to thank our stars that people elected Modi the second time. I don’t think any of the previous PMs would have handled this situation like Modi did

if GoI focused entirely on pandemic and ignored PLA, it would have been chaos in the country. If GoI focused entirely in PLA and handled pandemic sub-optimally it would have been chaos. Modi govt seems to have handled both situations presented before him with great aplomb. and don’t forget from dec 2019 to March 2020 entire nation was focused only on JNU & Delhi riots. And it does look like CCP just selected a President on behalf of US

whether future historians recognise it or not, the country narrowly escaped a series of monumental disasters due to deft handling of Modi and his team.

what you are suggesting is like advancing towards an LMG fire from an enemy position without taking cover.
Modi govt have pretty much said that the LMG doesn't exist at all which is what I have an issue with.

I absolutely agree with you that Modi sarkar is the best we have and India is fortunate to have them at this juncture. I shudder to think how UPA (or some other khichdi) govt would have handled this situation. But having said that, Modi govt is not above criticism and have fallen far short of what they could have achieved. In some sense, Modi's second term is a civilizational inflection point for sanatana dharma with a clear majority in LS and near majority in RS. I hope they live up to it and don't waste this precious mandate.

Oli's tone came down the day R&AW chief visited nepal, let's see.
Nepal is a gone case. The seeds of discontent has been sown by the Communist Oli and his party. The fact is Oli is silent now and hopes someday it will be able to get back Lipulekh and adjoining areas after talks which to understanding will never happen, then you will see Nepal going back to square one.
Now I don't want to say that we have lost Nepal because we never had Nepal with us in the first place.

Can't we use our intelligence agency to create rift among commies. Aiding the monarchist parties with help of HSS(nepali RSS). Antonia Maino could use Intelligence Agency to support commies and overthrow monarchs then why can't BJP do the opposite. We have the capabilities to interfere in Nepal politics then why don't we use that.

It is already being done lol.
every month you hear about Oli vs Prachanda fights, it is only being taped over by copious amounts of Chinese money, but that is very short lasting.
Btw we are interfering, but it is reactive to Oli growing wings, flying, hooting in Chinese, and shitting on our interests.
There doesn't seem to be an active policy so to speak of "managing" the internal affairs and politics of our neighbors to be conducive to our interests as of yet it seems, only reactive fire fighting efforts.

Why this reactive bullshit policy is always done by us lol. We should actively interfere in our neighbors internal politics otherwise china will interfere (its already doing). By hook or by crook we should expand our influence over our neighbors. So that they will stay our allies.

Yes, what they do now is take corrective actions only when the china-backed problem appears, they don't try to prevent the problem altogether like they should.
Even a couple of years back there was some jihadi ghulam of China in Maldives, now he is removed though, but our influence in Maldives went for a toss for the ~5 years or so of his rule.

Biggest problem with current reactive model is once Chinese get in and give out their (((loans))), once the loans are in, even if regime change happens the chong still gets lasting influence because these little countries just can't pay

Indian Army deploys tunnel defences in Ladakh

According to senior military commanders, the Indian Army has deployed large diameter Hume reinforced concrete pipes in dug in tunnels to shelter the troops from enemy attack and surprise the adversary in the case of a worst -case scenario. The reinforced concrete pipes have diameter from six to eight feet, which allows troops to easily move underground from one location to other without being exposed to enemy fire. The other benefit of tunnels is that they can be heated and shelter the troops from polar temperatures and snow blizzards.

what else do you expect a news paper owned by Alibaba group to say.

Just because our desi journalists don’t have the spine to look out for our national interest, doesn’t mean foreign journalist lack the spine to keep their self interest in mind.

this news is based on CAIT statement, and that particular line doesn’t exist in that report.

In other news, from 2021 Xi poohpong declares that China will be focusing on growing it's domestic consumer market, re-orienting their current export-oriented growth model to a domestic consumption based model.
Of course the subtext is also to reduce imports.

With such open declarations, where are the shills crying PROTECTIONISM in global news sites? They always scream themselves hoarse about PROTECTIONISM when writing articles about Atmarnirbhar Bharat/Make in India.

I really wish we also did media management atleast for these economic/investment matters like the Choinees do :(

So what? It did 0 loss to china but huge loss to Indian vendors selling chinese maal as chinese had already sold such things, still shows 1/3rd of population still went for chinese maal.
What with this typical pessimistic attitude of yours. See the Good thing as well 2/3rd now probably gonna go for indian alternative. Vendors would buy supplies from locals. Honestly change ur name to PositivitySlayer 🤣🤣🤣.
