they have reason but now the LAC is too hot for their usual technique of landgrabs, so kuch na hoga.
Contrary to 10 foot china man image they portray, they also don't seem to want escalation
They are not 10 foot china man they are 4 foot ka lilliput.

But their strategy is not bad grab a bit of land hold on to it rinse repeat.

There is no need for them to fight if they can countinue to do this. If your objectives can be achieved without firing a shot why bother fighting.

No matter how small gains are gains so they will continue to resort to this technique.

War does not benifit them.

This time it is different. We are habituated to so much peace is that we can now hardly imagine hostility.

How it is different? China this time came prepared, with tools as well as intent. Doklam was different, both parties were unprepared. China most probably has been preparing since then, building barracks, and heated shelters in Ladakh.
The timing is also optimal. Our air force currently is at the weakest, and Chinese bio-warfare has crippled the world economy except theirs. US elections are coming so the US will be indecisive to commit to the fullest.

Coming winter when the snow settles (post-end-Nov to Dec in some areas), our supply chain to Ladakh will be weakest. In fact, if China does not attack us at this optimal time, that will be very foolish for them, because they might never get such an opportunity again, and India-China defence capability gap will now keep on decreasing every year.

Rest assured, the truth will come out who retreated and who didn't. Satellite images will pick up ground positions, so neither China nor India can live with selling fake news to their countrymen.
By "China attacking India" you mean.. Shooting and killing each other..and blasting soldiers to bits, with a solid death toll on the Indian side ? That would be nice, but friend, pussies dont do such sh*t to each other..

I don't see the gap decreasing but rather increasing as we try to recover our economy while their economy has managed to remain mostly intact.

Yes but 10 foot middle kingdom gods image is what is being sold to PMO etc.
The opinions of us plebs do not matter, if the people in power are spooked or are convinced any offensive action will escalate into a war and will be disadvantageous to us( and a danger to them holding on to power ), we will not see anything, koi nahi ghussa will be gospel and newly grabbed areas will become new LAC rinse and repeat.

:hmm: From sat images they are making road from their side upto Black Top .

Even more structures coming around base of Black Top , as well as south bank of Spangur lake.

Regardless of how GOI and MEA spin it , you can't hide those structures , roads and infra on sat.

If there is a disengagement and they are still visible on sat images a year from now , we will know how much of a cowards we really are.

its gonna be another doklam victory , i will be really surprised if the removed all the structures seen
below , they put up.

Absolutely not to forget we have allowed them to get away with it everytime. This time the scale was larger that's why India reacted.. Coz they pushed too far I think & it was a close call after Galwan clash.
One country wants to win without fighting.. Other one has only peace to show. That's why inaction from both sides.

Shukla and the Congress was daring Modi to go to war from day 1. As if the government has to take advice from these guys. There are many ways to skin the Chinese cat. One way is to keep them in the Ladakh cold for winter and let the weather do the job. Air conditioned tents and drone noodles can take the Chinese only so far.

The Wikipedia page on altitude sickness points out that - The earliest description of altitude sickness is attributed to a Chinese text from around 30 BCE which describes "Big Headache Mountains" possibly referring to the Karakoram Mountains around Kilik Pass. The current deployment seems to be an even bigger headache for the Chinese.

Now it appears the Chinese had enough and are begging for the exit. And it also appears India is in no hurry.
Chinese withdrawal really means their advance was well and effectively blocked. So channels like Shukla are being re-activated to sow confusion and paint the Chinese withdrawal as an Indian defeat.

Yes.
Soldiers are refined fighting machines, my friend. They are trained to charge at order, without caring naught about their life.

Cowards here aren't soldiers. They merely wait for permission to fight, (or prohibition for not to, as in what happened in Galwan).

Cowards are the oily-haired bureaucrats and phat ministers sitting at the capital who think selling their motherland is okay if they can buy another bungalow next year.

I don't see the gap decreasing but rather increasing as we try to recover our economy while their economy has managed to remain mostly intact.
Economy-wise we will struggle to pick up the pace for another year. That is not the concern, what I meant was the military power gap.
The Chinese economy will quickly plateau if they do not think of creative ideas to sustain it (like America selling arms, or straight colonialization of poorer countries).
Whereas, we are not even in our industrial revolution.

Regarding military power and border infrastructure, we will slowly shorten the gap.

They are trying, AI, 5G telecoms equipment, high end IC fabrication, Processors, DRAM, Flash, Display tech fabrication, passenger jet manufacture, jet engine manufacturing, there are more things also that I am missing.
Of course many of those plans now face trouble thanks to one obscene fat orange old man sitting in the White House since 4 years.

The pimp Shukla need no continuous feed from China or ISI. He knows how to serve his master’s interests without being told.

The problem is not that Chukla spreads wrong information.

The problem is that all the major news outlets picks up these non-sense and spreads it more destructively.

BBC and CCN doesn't know any other reporter in India other than Chukla.

It's a long haul game of psy-ops what they are playing.

First, Chukla do some Chugli which is picked up by Khangress and then major news outlets quotes his first Chugli & spreads it more.

Yes.. but unlike Aksai Chin, the chinese dont control these lands..
Chinese do control large areas of Ladakh that they have newly occupied and fortified this year. Unless the government decides to turn it into another Schrödinger's cat like Doklam where the Chinese returned in the winter, built a helipad instead of a road, and fortified it with permanent defences and bunkers.

Thats what I want, deploy our soldiers for the winter, and complete our infrastructure at warp speed in ladakh in the next 3 years, to make it a fortress.. Bury the chinese dreams of any further salami slicing.. As per reports, the 3 IA divisions are almost fully stocked..

We wont use force to vacate the chinese from the areas they occupied this summer. Its fine by me, as long as we hold the south pangong heights and our soldiers take a pi** every morning overlooking Moldo garrison :)

About time Takla gets the stick also.
I pray to God MUKES expands his JioMart beyond this kirana wala meme level to normal e-commerce shop and gets rid of Taklazon and WalKart.

ITS THE HINDI ALEXA VOICE TO BOOT :rage:
Mota Bhai is a huge planner. For him the landscape is ICE. He starts by ticking the boxes where he is more likely to succeed. Thereafter, he owns it all. Already in talks with Qualcomm for 5G network infrastructure and services.

You are right. The probkem is how much air time his views get without being challenged. His past failures should serve as a credibility bock but doesn't seem to happen

His comments are being repeated unquestioningly on this forum from senior posters as well?

So clearly it is a well rehearsed push to spread such views.

I disagree. The South Pangong heights that are occupied by Indian Army are on Indian side of the LAC anyways, in spite of the tactical advantage. Chinese occupy the heights on their side also. At the right time, after adequate preparations, India will push Chinese back to their side of the LAC by force in all areas such as Pangong Tso, Depsang, etc, as well as gain new tactically advantageous areas necessary to hold on to Indian territory around the LAC.
The same will be done in areas of Arunachal, Doklam, and elsewhere illegally occupied by China.
