Post 1962 India-China war, areas that include Ashafila, Longzu, Bisa and Maza in present Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh was in Indian territory but now it is with China. India's last military camp is at New Maza, said Gao.
"Sumdorong Chu Valley in Tawang district also has been captured by the Chinese PLA in 1986, when Krishnaswamy Sundarji was the chief of Indian Army," he said.
Sumdorong Chu Valley ( previously in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh) is bounded by Bhutan in the west and the Thag La ridge to the north. On June 26, 1986, the Government of India lodged a formal protest with Beijing against intrusions in this region by Chinese troops, that had occurred on June 16.
The MP also claimed that "the Fish Tail - 1 and Fish Tail - 2 which is in Indian territory is not being shown in the map. If we go by the map, those areas are just left out as if it belongs to China."

"We already have military camps in those areas," he said, adding, "The Indian map should be re-drawn."

Fish Tail-1 and Fish Tail - 2 are in the easternmost corners of Aruanchal Pradesh and road infrastructure is extremely poor. Both the areas are near Mc Mohan Line and the Fish Tail-I is mostly a glaciated region.

You should appreciate Modi for going that extra mile to try to improve relations with China.

Let me give you an example. China is a very large potential market for Indian firms; as China slowly becomes a developed country, their manufacturing sector will become cost-wise incompetent vis-à-vis that of India.

Let me give you another example; Chinese investments in the Indian economy actually helps us to grow. Look at what China did in the past; they milked decades of American investment to grow even though they considered America, even back then, as a foe. We should be doing the same.

I could have written more but my hands are too lazy right now to type.

I hope I answered your question.:)
Big difference between US FDI into China and Chinese FDI into India is that every single Chinese company in India is an agent of the CCP and is implementing Chinese state policy. And the flip side is that China does not give market access to any foreign company and if they do, they will promptly copy that product. So good luck with Indian companies being granted market access to China, just as Western companies have discovered over the years. The Indian rationale for granting access to Chinese companies in India was that they will have an economic stake in India and thereby temper Chinese behavior at the border. Even the Modi Government pushed this policy and so the Ladakh incursion was a shock because GOI could not believe that China was willing to throw away the economic benefits of market access to India to claim territory.

Over time, China will increasingly face not an Indian army but a mini-version of the US army as our weaponry increasingly comes from the US. It also means that if the US+India+Japan come together, it will be just a larger version of the US army with supreme inter-operability because the weapons are the same.

In five years we will have two more nuke subs. With all our nuke subs, we can still out top 20 Chinese cities. Few more with our land based missiles. Also dont forget we have fissile material for 1000+ nukes, it is just that we havent built them. They are probably just a few screw driver turns away.
Again that cry of joy over Outsourcing Security of India....

Ye Batao tum kya karoge ??

Not just India, many other countries are realising this now.
Many countries hoped that by pandering to CCP's insecurities they would get respite from whatever CCP is planning against them, It's not like those countries didn't know, just that CCP lobby was just stronger.

Now after China virus, security establishments of various country are more alert and are trying to convince their respective govts to stop giving leeway to CCP.

Too much self-criticism beyond a point w.r.t india is pointless in this case.

As of today, Europe especially Germany, Spain & Italy is still pandering to CCP. i am just waiting to see what is in store for them from CCP. CCP's hand of friendship is like Basmasura hasta.

Shameless fish stealers at it again

Tensions along the South American Pacific as a giant Chinese fishing fleet of about 300 vessels moves from the edge of the Galapagos to the waters off Peru

They are like aliens from Independence day movie .

Moving from planet to planet consuming all resources , destroying all civilizations.

It pains me to say this but nahi hoga, once a democracy is infested with PRC shills, there is no way to dislodge them, imagine even our large country which faces threats from chongs at our border barely does app bans, only to back peddle on that( according to rumor's ).
Imagine what option other random small countries have.

How are they able to fish so far away from shores that too in a different continent altogether, isn't it illegal? WTF is EEZ for then.
Who will enforce their EEZ against the 2nd Superpower lol?
Will you get your navy or CG to shoot at "fishing vessels", inviting a response from an UpSeT CHiNa?
It's the same strategy they use while land-grabbing except it's fishing boats now instead.

They depend on scared/spineless/corrupt/un-interested governments showing no action to defend what is rightfully theirs, and it works everytime, because you don't f*ck with the $15 trillion economy, Factory of the World, Largest consumer market, top investor in startups etc etc.

Hans are f**king locusts..
Atleast people attempt to get rid of locusts, with the Chinese is it implicit capitulation to whatever they do
Literally only US does the bare minimum to punish the Chongs, and even then it is a Trump-only effort, the rest of that country is made up of Globalist dalals who only care for personal/business interests and an NPC population who doesn't consider China a serious issue

This is why i said last year, world needs a nice world war to reset. This Post-WW2 global order setup is becoming counter productive.

Like that Canadian lady from Chatham House in the linked video stated that while security agencies and armed forces in democratic countries were well aware of the Chinese threat, they were overruled in the public discourse by the business lobbies in those countries which have very strong pro China links. And the Chinese have bought influence in every single democratic country via making inroads into the ruling political class e.g. the current Canadian foreign minister, in his prior job was in the private sector and was in London as the head of a company. Being a foreigner in London, he had difficulty in getting a mortgage loan for his house. All the big British banks refused him a mortgage, but Bank of China's London branch gave him a mortgage and when he was appointed the foreign minister of Canada a few months ago, he still had and still has an outstanding of 1.2 million dollars on that loan!! As you can see from this case, the Chinese intelligence apparatus works closely with Chinese companies and banks in their overseas operations, identifying potentially important persons and doing favors for them with the hope of expecting a payback later. This case came to light because as a minister he had to declare all his assets and liabilities. Imagine, how much influence the Chinese have bought with movers and shakers in Governments and industry around the world. Thankfully now because of Covid and the blatant aggression in Ladakh, Taiwan and the South China sea islands the voices of security agencies and armed forces of democracies around the world are being heard.

Maintenance expenditure is like tax evasion. On last priority both for employees and employers. This all accidents given the width of our geography and diversity in operations are bound to happen after long corona break. Many industries have never ever been shutdown for such long haul including the biggest Maruti Suzuki. Anyone working in manufacturing can easily verify this.
Yes, average engineers working by manuals are not good enough in some situations like you mentioned.
