There are many differences and many groups with in islam as far as pakistan is concerned . Pakistan panjab is controlled by barelvi islam ( those labaik labaik people ) . they wont tolorate and might work against deoband if they see threat to their strong hold . Its the army / ISI and its propaganda through education , intervention and upper crust nationalists ( mostly pakjabi ) keeps pakistan united .. Islam does not keep pakistan united .. its a myth .

They can conduct night drills having advantage of plains landscape. Practically not possible on our side, this drill is just a PR show or worthless unless they want us to fight the war on their side. It is completely different strategy on mountaneous region.

It is possible, happened during Kargil when troops left at night climbed and took cover and moved upwards at the dead of night and then finally assaulted the top at first light.

Very limited like artillery, atgm or covert operation. Moving a company of soldiers is higly unlikely during night considering the rocky unstable terrain at LAC

Pakistani nukes will fall in the hands of terrorists only at the very end, as it's the source of power and prestige for the Pakistani establishment.. What's happening now in Pakistan is only a fraction of the mayhem that Pakistan suffered from in the early 2010s..

Ha ha yes, I was immediately reminded of a couple of movies about Kargil. IIRC some of the firefights also took place at night.

BTW folks may have already forgotten but Op Snow Leopard was also executed at night, and with out necessarily the fancy-shancy "We own the Night"(TM) NVG gear. Nights are ideal for offensive manoeuvres if you have the capability since the enemies situational awareness can be lower (longer reaction time) - Our Balakot attack was also at night.

First Kargil terrain is completely different from terrain at LAC, second Pakistan Army had the advantage of height and precision strikes from the top, so we had no other choice to climb to the top. Even most of the casualties at galwan valley occured due to soldiers falling over from rugged and rocky heights.

Sep - Nov is the peak campaign season in Ladakh. Chinese attacked us same time in 1962, we too carried out adjustments last year during this time.
Post-Nov winter is in full force till March and you just hunker down and wait wherever your foxhole is.
