The PLARF fired two missiles at two E-2 Hawkeye sized aircraft targets. One hit the target, the other missed the center of the airframe by about 30 meters. The Washington Times reported that both missiles hit, but that clearly isn't true.

Still, launched from 1400kms away and taking away 1 of the 2 aircraft is very potent threat.

We have already see a real life demo of the accuracy of BMs by Iran last year, if anything Chinese have far more advanced in missile technology and ISR capabilities. The threat needs to be taken seriously (I'm sure IA/IAF are doing so, but I doubt how much the resource crunch is affecting it), their aim would be to destroy as many IAF aircraft on the ground as possible. They have built a whole range with an actual runway and tarmac to test and perfect their missiles.

So, lets say, when the Indian railways invites tenders for "CCTVs" who has to inform them of the threat perception in case they go for CCP products? Has the relevant organization or ministry formed a policy for this & informed the railways or others organizations? Where exactly is the ball stuck?

If this is being done now, good. But at which level can the responsibility be pinned for past usage?

Fact that CCP helps Pak in all ways, the war/border skirmishes that we have had with them, CCP's other espionage/insurgent friendly activities should all have been incorporated into a policy document years back with a big NO against - Can we install CCP made IP cameras at hydro electric stations, nuclear plants, railways, airports, shipyards etc.
