Insurgency-related incidents in the northeastern (N-E) states dipped by 80% and civilian deaths by 99% last year compared to 2014, according to the Union home ministry data. The civilian deaths were in single digits (two) in 2020 for the first time since 1999. The deaths of security forces’ personnel also came down by 75%.

Hopefully with more infra projects , better economic investments , it will fully die out like in punjab.

That will be 1 less weapon China can use against us.

To counter PLA's ongoing live drills near LAC why not IAF consider show of strength at LAC by conducting a prolonged CAP and reconnaissance missions. An exchange of fire ensued between the security personnel and the militants in Michibailung area.

Eight Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) militants were on Sunday killed in an encounter with security forces in Assam’s West Karbi Anglong district, along the Nagaland border, a senior police officer said.
Earlier, he had claimed six died in the exchange of fire, as the bodies of two others were yet to be recovered.
