I support afghans in thier struggle against an imperialsit China.
Like that one time when they had to run away from the battlefield in Africa against some local militants and the Indian Peacekeeping forces had to do their job for them.Hurts to say this as it may come off as pro china, but in current times if anyone has a chance to kick terrorist asses then its China as they don't give a damn about some "elite" randis and "secular" warriors displaying their compassion and bravery on internet.
Well, they are learning their way considering they did not adventure outside their near abroad forever. Even the Americans ran out in Somalia and recently Iraq and Syria and pretty lost every war eventually after Ww2 objectively speaking in a military sense but the goal was different when fighting profit wars. We just need to understand our big and difficult neighbor in an objective manner and form a strategy and means. Fighting china on imported weaponry is at best band aid and we are at early stages of reviving our military science in almost 200 years (excluding british). So a bit of patience atleast a decade or two is unavoidable and watch them exhaust themselves in big power struggles that are underway while building ourselves up.Like that one time when they had to run away from the battlefield in Africa against some local militants and the Indian Peacekeeping forces had to do their job for them.
Hmm from the article it seems that china will only deploy forces to defeat IS and al-qaeda the exclusion of taliban along with the recent deals with them to set up industries in that region seem to suggest that china is preparing for the Afghani govt to collapse.
Afghans will eat them in breakfast.
Perhaps takeover some of the US bases in coordination with Afghan govtIndia should also start negotiations and secure our interests there before any side gains a major advantage.
Talibs get to have some more Bachabazzi...
yaar , chinese are in bed with taliban , they were caught funding ops with terrorists against afghan gov.Hurts to say this as it may come off as pro china, but in current times if anyone has a chance to kick terrorist asses then its China as they don't give a damn about some "elite" randis and "secular" warriors displaying their compassion and bravery on internet. India seems to be better prepared than it ever was since Marathas.
Giving too much credit to Rag taggers....roast Pakistan first and Afghanistan can be controlled in a couple of years. Soviets would have done it had it not been for West and Gorby. Chinese will clear out areas of current invaders (as the original natives are Hindus who are cleansed all the way) and slice and eventually merge parts of that territory atleast until they themselves breakup eventually as China always does in empire building adventures.Talibs get to have some more Bachabazzi...
US bases will be stripped down of any meaningful equipment the only plus side is their strategic location.Perhaps takeover some of the US bases in coordination with Afghan govt
This will be the Fall of Saigon 2.0.US bases will be stripped down of any meaningful equipment the only plus side is their strategic location.
There will no coordination with the afgan army they are a threat to chinese interests and won't allow a Chinese monopoly over their economy.
Taliban on the other hand is already dealing with china in various areas.
Ofcourse, Taliban is Paki operation and they got pigs by balls. India needs to get hold of one or two primary US bases and preempt full Chinese access.yaar , chinese are in bed with taliban , they were caught funding ops with terrorists against afghan gov.
this is another chinese victory.
we will be completely kicked out of the country within next decade .
We take our own instead of their hightech crap fighting low tech rag taggers.....if we don't have the resolve to invest in that area with men/material and losses then we have no right to bitch about others playing the game. It is a dirty game but we already have presence there after many centuries fortunately even if its not that much.US bases will be stripped down of any meaningful equipment the only plus side is their strategic location.

... and US after investing two decades and several thousand men will look away while China, Pakistan & Russia run merry in Afghanistan.Taliban right now is now preparing itself to fill the vacuum once US forces leave.
Afghan govt lost the day US opened negotiations with taliban. It pretty much showed who the US now considered the real power.
The afgan govt is weak it's troops demoralized and it's Treasury empty they will fall soon once US leaves them until and unless someone props them again.
Once taliban comes to power they will need money to run the country money with low interest rates and a ton of that. This is where china steps in and this is why taliban has thrown Uyghur muslims under the bus. They have their own plans for afganistan and they need both money and labor for it. US will continue to remain hostile to them on the global stage because muh democracy.
Both china and russia will prop up afghanistan to align them with pakistan and Iran thus securing their hold in that region.

The PLA stopped short of restoring April 2020 status quo ante at Gogra-Hot Springs area and have submitted certain proposals from their side for consideration of the Indian Army. The complete disengagement in this area will take time and more persuasion,” said a senior official.
@Abdus Salem killed the cat is finally out of the bag.Diplomatese aside, the PLA clearly wants that Indian Army recognise its new positions along the Ladakh LAC beyond patrolling point 15 and 17A and is very reluctant to go back to its dug-outs before April 2020. “There are some 60 Chinese troops ahead of its April 2020 positions in the Gogra-Hot Springs area and disengagement remains incomplete till status quo ante is restored. Once this step is completed, the next step would be to address the patrolling rights of Indian Army in Depsang Bulge, a 2013 legacy issue,” said another official.
