either they have serious contentions among them or the PR of HAL sucks in managing IAF.

Siachen is a large place, We have Siachen training center where MI-17 can land so does other copters, But for high altitude only Cheetah and Dhruv are qualified ..

For PA its the same things ..

The Kamov design KA-226t is perhaps the only can go archive cheetah`s ceiling height ..

KA-226 was not before, Russian has to modify it to KA-226T to archive such ceiling height ..

The Indian army controls all of the 76 kilometres (47 mi) long Siachen Glacier and all of its tributary glaciers, as well as the three main passes of the Saltoro Ridge immediately west of the glacier—Sia La, Bilafond La, and Gyong La.

The Ghazi army of Pakistan resides south west of the glacier not actually on it. And hence they do not need helicopters for resupplying.
