KPI of every CTO/CIO in India is to reduce IT costs since IT department is a cost centre not a profit centre. and India is damn good at reducing costs, it has been the case for more than two decades, this is why we have innovations like zoho, which is why companies have been shifting to cloud for a decade now, whose goal is to reduce costs.

It exclusively makes panels for mobile phones.

could be it's one of the panel assembly plants, because the panel itself has many subcomponents, the most hightech of which is the display tech like LCD or OLED or MicroLED whatever, rest is glass etc.

But sure Bhalton doesn't have a display fab or panel manufacturing plant

8-10" inch size and below: Samsung is the biggest manufacturer and supplier. Other players: Sharp and Panasonic and Benq.
above 8-10": LG is the biggest manufacturer of the LED Panels. Others: Sharp, Samsung, Benq, Panasonic.

There are many more regional players and few chinese one who are manufacturing under license.

Brands like Apple, Samsung have far more employees, assets, net income and earn far more revenue every year as compared to minuscule companies like Walton which have far less than these top brands.
