Par for the course me thinks. What's the British but a race who profit from the misfortune of others mostly engineered by them & what's the British monarchy but a class of people who profit from the misfortune of others ( preferably) but if it isn't possible, from their own?!

No one, particularly small countries like Taiwan, likes mass immigration. It is an abuse of friendship to assume that just because a country like Taiwan is friendly with us, they will be fine with 100,000 of us suddenly coming into their country. And the type of people we will send for blue collar work won't be the best mannered or woman friendly either. The whole deal reeks of out of touch politicians and businessmen who never bothered about public opinion and cultural implications.

This is not comparable with Israel which is doing a 1 to 1 replacement of palestinian migrants with Indians.

Related to this, I have never understood the H1B advocacy from the GOI and common Indians either. It's the problem of that small percentage of Indians if they're not getting H1B to work in the US. How is it the national interest of 1.4 billion Indians, or relevant to India's foreign policy if this small percentage of Indians settles in the US or not. Yet this has been made a foreign policy issue purely for emotional reasons, doing away with logic.

Soft colonisation. THAT is what is in our national interest. At the end of the day, demographics is destiny and foreign policy is dictated by two and only two factors : internal politics & geopolitics. The latter is fate of geography, the former is fate of demography. And the former can be altered in less than a century.
I was in Vancouver, aka ground zero, when Meng Wangzhou case went down and it was very instructive to me, to see the Chinese Canadian community rally to her cause - systematic pressure was applied from all angles due to chinese demographics in Vancouver - from city hall to give her the most comforts during house arrest, local MLAs & MPs mouthing off about her 'hyooman rights', exerting pressure on Turd-O, etc etc.
How was this made possible ? DEMOGRAPHICS ! thats how.

reality is if immigration keeps up at the same rate for another 30 years, Canada will have Indian origin population as its largest demographic (close to 35%), so will Australia ( close to 40%) and New Zealand (40%). USA & UK will be around 15-20%.
Thats a commanding minority in the three of the five eyes and a significant minority in the remaining two.

The entire reason the west is going 'hurr durr hinduvta, hindu fascism, mudi mudi mudi' IS because in the last 10 years, Indian immigrants coming in are less keen to become gora-fied and more keen to proudly keep their indian-ness & indian interests in mind.
This is the great fear of the west - that we will take over silently from the inside via demography. And as logic dictates - if your comepetition is afraid of you over something, that something is your advantage over them.

The second, short term benefit of the above is the HUGE amount of FDIs that come back to India, as Indians who go over and immigrate, tend to keep their earned wealth in India and not in the countries they immigrate to. This is why remittences from USA is around 25 billion per annum. India's defence budget is around 70 billion- meaning Indian immigration to USA alone is equivalent to over a third of India's defence budget & if India were to invest all its remittences towards the defence budget, we'd be able to find another 25 billion dollars more. Thats not a joking amount & that number is only set to skyrocket with higher levels of immigration.

The Indian government recognises these benefits- both short term & long term- to encourage it.

Absolutely wrong. It just shows the slave mentality which only Indians have and not the Chinese, Japanese, etc. Why Indians try to be the nice guy? Didn't they learn enough lessons for the past 100 years??

Demography matters a lot. See how the Chinese defend their own kind and they were able to do that because of their significant population in that town, city. But our people aspire to become coolies. Their dream is to become the best coolie for their Muslims/White masters.

And talking about bad image, as if the western media has already not saturated the entire internet with Hinduphobic, anti-Indian content despite Indians being the best immigrants.

Our people must go to Taiwan, make India towns there just like Chinese keep making China towns wherever they go. Influence the politics, decision making and become a inseparable part of Taiwan.

Don't be too happy. This guy is going to make it worse than what Jair Bolsonaro did for Brazil. Remember, "right-wing" in South America is basically USA's lapdog. Given the resource powerhouse that Argentina is, this Milei would simply hand over all lithium mines, agricultural lands, and copper and zinc reserves to American mining corporations, in exchange for a pittance.

Argentina will become another Colombia and it will remain poor. Just stable enough to exist but have a pathetic existence. Their Left (minus corruption) is actually a good option for the locals. It's the corruption that bangs up the South American economy in general.

The right-wing there are just a bunch of Reza Shah-equivalents.

It started, revenge of the fallen. After 10 year of unmitigated oppression of right-wing thought. They are finding that they have exhausted all of their devices and capacity. While right tolerating all unfairness and handicapped, they are practically unchanged and ever-lively in vigor and zeal and capacity.

They will know that "right" is a force of nature, uncontrollable in raw power.
Now things will heat up more.
They had only felt civility of right,

Its Ireland. Their right wing is also left wing. They are basically fighting for the immigrants to only abuse their daughters 5 days a week instead of 7.
