Pakistan's objective is to live another day to destroy india,in that way it worked as what keeps their fragile state alive is their own view of thinking their military is super competent.this is because through the decades the people of pakistan have lost the trust in all types of institutions except for the military,this was facilitated by the military as they got to be in the main players in pak politics and mind and subsequently everything done in pak had to blessed by the military.

The down side to this is that pakistani mind has little to count on in its country other than military which also meshes well with islam as martial quality is the among the few if not only quality they claim they have and also respects.

If the military is humiliated in a way without in the pak peoples mind it would hence make their state very weak as there is not much holding it together but the military.

To put it in summary think of pakistan as an insurgency with a country size pool of people to recruit from.in this case damaging the coolness and ideology of the insurgency is just as if not more damaging to pakistan.pakistan also has no choice as it cannot win against india militarily,economically or any other sphere so they spend most of their resources on insurgency ,trying to promote true islamic values as that is their only means of attack.

The indian state should build up offensive propaganda capability as this causes more damage thammil long 10000 of their soldiers and 10000 paki inzurgents as they don't care and also have more reserves they can recruit from their villages.
Paki people are irrational and religious zealots. Army or no army, they don't care. We destroyed their national morale in 1971, but it does not drive any sense into them. We should realize that they will remain that way. Breaking them into multiple smaller pieces and allowing them to fight amongst themselves is a reasonable thing we should do.

Was just doing some calculations after reading an article that says F16s at 40,000 feet targeted Su30MKI at 10-15000 feet. I was wondering if it's even possible considering RADAR moves few degrees up and down. Did basic maths and story checks out

Consider right angled triangle

h^2 = a^2 + b^2

h = distance between F16 at 40k and su30 at 15k
a = Distance between F16 and Su30 at 40K feet in straight line= 100 km
b = Distance between 40k and 15k = 25k feet or 7.62km

For the sake of not assuming radar targeted su30 at 15k feet, let's assume su30 at 40k feet and radar locked and fired onto it with full range (later you can change h/a calculation but won't make much difference)

h = square root ( 100^2 + 7.62^2)
h = 100.2899 Km

Let's determine the angle Radar would have to travel for locking Su30Mki

Sin(x) = a/h
x = inverse of sine (100/100.2899)
x = 85.63 degrees

So Angle of Radar = 90 - 85.63 = 4.37 degrees

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN/APG-68

Range for 5m2 aerial target is 105km
Azimuth angular coverage: ±10 degrees / ± 30 degrees / ± 60 degrees

History lesson for Pakistan’s military: IAF’s Keelor brothers shot down PAF jets in 1965

Denzil, Trevor Keelor shot down Pakistan’s Sabre jets in 1965. They were honoured with Vir Chakra, first time two brothers received the award for the same reason.

New Delhi: A retired Indian Air Force (IAF) officer, who Sunday inadvertently became the subject of Pakistan’s false propaganda about success after Balakot air strikes, has called the entire incident “ridiculous”.

Speaking to ThePrint, Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (retd), who won the Vir Chakra for shooting down a Pakistani Sabre during the 1965 war, said, “It is really ridiculous that they will edit a four-year-old video to show success.”

Keelor’s comments came a day Pakistan’s director-general of Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Asif Ghafoor, tweeted a video of the retired officer, claiming that he was talking about “Indian failure” in the dogfight between the IAF and the Pakistan Air Force on 27 February, a day after the Balakot air strikes.

After being called out for tweeting an old video, Ghafoor backtracked to say the video “was revealed to be doctored through inset”.

“They had first claimed two Indian aircraft were shot down (during Balakot) and that two pilots were in custody. But then they could produce only one. They cannot admit that their air force also lost an aircraft and hence out of frustration they tweeted the video,” Denzil told ThePrint.

The officer who has been used to spread negative propaganda against the IAF is actually a hero who took part in two wars, including 1971.

Denzil and his brother Trevor, who was also in the IAF, shot down two Sabres in the 1965 war with Pakistan. Both brothers were honoured with the Vir Chakra, the first time two brothers received the award for the same reason.

The Keelor brothers

On 19 September 1965, Denzil Keelor, then a Squadron Leader, was providing fighter escort to Mystere aircraft during a strike mission in the operations against Pakistan.

His section of four Gnat aircraft was engaged by four enemy Sabre jet aircraft and the battle was fought at a height of less than 2,000 feet from the ground where enemy anti-aircraft guns were also active. Under his guidance, his subsection leader shot down a Sabre jet aircraft. But Denzil wasn’t to be left behind. He himself engaged another Sabre jet and crippled it.

His action came just days after his brother, late Wing Commander Trevor Keelor who was the first IAF pilot to score an air kill in independent India, also shot down a Sabre.

On 3 March 1965, the IAF sent in a batch of the slow moving Mystere fighter-bombers as bait to draw in the PAF. This was led by Wing Commander William Macdonald Goodman.

Seeing him in air, the F-86 Sabre jets came after him. However, in a surprise, the package was supported by F-104 Starfighters. Unmindful of the numerical superiority of the enemy, Trevor, then a Squadron Leader, chased a Sabre jet and pressed home his attack until the enemy aircraft caught fire and disintegrated in the air.

This was the first victory of the IAF in air battles against the PAF.

Denzil went on to fight in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. But on 8 December 1971, a day after his 38th birthday, his aircraft was shot down. He managed to eject safely, but a hard landing caused him injuries and forced him to spend the rest of the war in the hospital.

Contribution to Balakot strikes

Air Marshal Denzil Keelor had an indirect contribution even to the Balakot air strikes on 26 February.

Denzil had played a crucial role in the purchase of the French Mirage 2000 aircraft that were used by the IAF to strike the main training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammad in Pakistan’s Balakot.

“I was appointed as the Defence Attache in Paris when the deal was being worked out. Later, on my return, I was made in charge of setting up the Gwalior base for the Mirages,” Denzil told ThePrint

For something big to happen let the Rafales and S 400 missiles come . Then we have advantage over Pak . Wait for three four years for government to wash away congress created rot .
So we admit that means all 200+ sukhois are useless, upgraded mig 29s, m2ks are useless. Now we need to wait for rafales and s400

The India attitude is like this
>Let s400 come then we will be strong.
>After s 400 arrives
>Let AMCA arrive then we will be strong
>After AMCA arrives
>Let Rail Guns arrive them we will be strong.

Abhinandan Varthaman, Balakot pilots to get top military honours

Varthaman is likely to be awarded a Vir Chakra for his exploits, and the five Mirage-2000 fighter aces who dropped bombs on the terror facility of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Vayu Sena Medal for gallantry, said one of the officials cited above. Hindustan Times was the first to report on April 20 that Varthaman and the Mirage-2000 pilots could get gallantry awards.

Varthaman, then 35, scripted military aviation history by downing an F-16, seconds before his own MiG-21 Bison was hit by a missile forcing him to eject. Experts hailed it as the first ever kill of an F-16 by a MiG-21 Bison, fighter jets of two different generations. Varthaman was captured after he bailed out of his aircraft, but Pakistan returned him to India on March 1 after holding him captive for almost 60 hours.

You are definitely a paki troll . I said that with rafale and s 400 we have ADVANTAGE over pak . Read what I wrote carefully. Even now we are not behind pak with sukhois and mig 29s and mirages.

Calling our planes useless is sign of being paki troll.

Buddy, we trust our official sources. In this case, our airforce has claimed the kill and for me its sufficient.
If you have doubt on the evidence, then the onus is on you to prove otherwise.

Our forces are far more credible than pakis that lie about entire losses of territories the day after losing the said territory.
View attachment 37548

Paki goatfuckers have lied about losing F-16s before as well.

Too bad this thread ain't going anywhere, debunking & humiliating pakis is just too much fun.
Will pakiland honor Hassan tomorrow or he will be shown as on border duty?

When IAF chief himself has confirmed the kill, with IAF already presenting radar images and plenty of circumstantial evidence available, are you accusing of Indian forces of fabricating?... well, looks like someone is actually behaving like a Paki Pig!

Go and ask about evidence from your uncle Gafoora. Also ask him that when he is ready to take revenge of removal of 370. [emoji848]
