Now the new cope is "South asia is the fastest growing region on earth" that has been spreading on western media. Aljazeera ran this story and had a market with pakistani flags on it in the background when they were talking about south asian economic growth and in the last sentence adds that india is where the majority of economic growth is taking place but how its growth is not good because of unemployment and inflation.

No, most of our forex reserves are made up of export earnings and some of it is due to remittances.

No, most of our forex reserves are made up of export earnings and some of it is due to remittances.

Our reserves are composed of:

1. Selling INR to buy USD which we usually do to promote our exports.
2. Off course bulk is FII. They invested this much here because they are dependent upon Indian consumption for large part of their earnings. They won't pull out.
3. Off course, re emittances and exports.

Another positive side, we are not bailing companies on export earnings like Chinese reserves are set for. Instead, they are doing it themselves. They do not invest in India to do some kind of favour to India. They do because India provides best deal to them.

So, whatever a disgruntled paki Abdul says after reading a couple of fancy words from some gora's post must be least of our concern.

Other than that , this documentary serves as a good primer for thr history of the Pashtunistan movement of both sides of the Durand Line .
