That Pakistan was more prosperous than India in the past is pure BS. Pakistan had lower population and most of their needs was met by abundant arable land in the past. Even with obsolete farming methods they were able to feed their population because their population was less than 150 million in the past. However, as you can see today their exploding population cannot be fed by archaic methods of farming and they have become food importer.

Remember most of Porkistan's consumption comes from elites who are numbered less than 5 million. Rest of the awam are more than satisfied with food on the table which was easy in the past but not anymore. The variables Climate change, obsolete farming methods, mismanagement, exploding population have played a role. Porkistan was always poor. Back in the past these variables didn't exist or didn't play a significant role. But now at present those variables are playing a significant role in dragging them down.

Cyclone Bipor Joy may hit Karachi on 15th june, forecast is also predicting direct impact on kutch coast of India. But lets hope for the best, pakistan has proven to be lucky in last few months in terms of getting bad luck. So fingers crossed.

We pray that pakis once again get enough water through flood so that they don't have to depend on Indus river.
