Can anybody update me about Durga 2 laser weapon under development by DRDO . As much as I know a 25kw laser system has been already built and tested . It has a range of 5km.

DRDO already Tested Laser power of the order of 100 kW . Damage potential of the laser has been tested up to few Km distance. It is a multi mode Laser Source.

A wind tunnel model of an unidentified air launched munition. This could be the DRDO high angle of maneuver air launched strategic bomb with lattice fins under aerodynamic study.

It has 4 lattice / grid fins at the rear.

Generally advantages of lattice / grid fins are

1. Lattice / grid fins allows for high AoA
2. Lattice / grid fins can be used for de-accleration if required post supersonic release.
3. During supersonic flight post release lattice / grid fins will enable better maneuverability and stabilization.
