BCES warhead info

BCES-type warhead, generally used against runway tracks , is capable of inflicting craters to the tracks, and making them serviceable. it can also be used against other targets like staging areas , depots , fuel dumps etc.

CEP of the warhead : 150 m
Lethal radius of the warhead : 250m
Number of bomblets : 32
Lethal radius of the bomblet : 3.2m

NAYAN is a Communication Intelligence (COMINT) System in V/UHF frequency range. It is designed to provide strategic and tactical information by intercepting and exploiting hostile voice and data transmissions in the V/UHF range. It performs search, acquisition, monitoring, analysis, and digital recording of communication signals in the V/UHF frequency band. The DF section is configured with state-of-the-art Scan DF receiver designed to gather, process and produce COMINT information for generating real-time picture.

Yes.. Because it has been tested on Prithvi and developed for that only. But I was talking of a scenario of putting it on A1P along with Prithvi.. It could carry a 2000Kg payload.

DRDO COIN-A

we will be clustering such many satellites together to get enhanced coverage and capability since we can't afford bigger and expensive ELINT satellites.

Does our indigenous RWR like Dhruti have missile quality tracking functions like ALR94 and how capable are they?

Dhruti intercepts and identifies airborne, ship-borne and ground based acquisition, target tracking and missile guidance radars up to the J Band frequencies. The identified emitters (radars) are indicated to the aircrew by displaying corresponding set of symbols on the corresponding MFD page in the cockpits. A synthesized audio warning is provided to the aircrew at the birth of each emitter.

ALR 94 has a range of 250 Km that is more than Radars range . This equipment is one of the most complex system in F22 / F35.

Alr 94 can can cue radar emissions to be confined to a narrow beam (down to 2° by 2° in azimuth and elevation) to increase stealth.


I don't know other specifications of Dhruti but considering the experience of BAE in EW field AnALR 94 is superior to Dhruti.

Project AURA........ I think IIT-K did carried out this wind tunnel test.

Now I am not sure, but I think there would be two different version of this.
