Asal uttar was a tank battle.......no atgm that time.....if india gets helifire on apache and.....helina in lch.....and sant in mi35........

Yes I know ,I am talking about the their battle casualties were very high like 100 + tank destroyed or abandoned in comparison to our losses , I am saying we can inflinct many asal uttars on the enemy with different ATGMs

That’s it. After 2020 India should put a ban on all missile deals from abroad, simply not needed.

If there’s a requirement that isn’t met by a current or ongoing Indian project, the relevant service should make requirement known to DRDO who will meet it.

Declare indi self-sufficient in missile tech and then move on to other fields that need similar success.

Why not test it on the LOC or Rajasthan IB in real time. It is the right time when all test ammunition can be used and the damage can be accessed real time. Why waste technology& ammunition in testing.

Twin Success for Man Portable Anti Tank Guided Missile

In a major boost for Army, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test fired indigenously developed, low weight, fire and forget Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) for the second time today in the ranges of Rajasthan desert. MPATGM is incorporated with advanced features including state-of-the-art Imaging Infrared Radar (IIR) Seeker with integrated avionics. The first test was conducted on 13th March 2019. In both the missions, the missiles hit the designated targets precisely at different ranges. All the mission objectives have been met.

We need to mass produce them. If we need to prepare for 2 front war, we would need them in large numbers. Indigenous technology is always better than foreign maal in the event of a war. During war, we need to buy only critical ammunition.

If GoI banned imported missile systems IAF would quickly be running to DRDO, utterly no reason to keep buying off the shelf, take away that option and see what happens.

India doesn't have an operational IR seeker yet as per my knowledge. Nag missile is the first attempt. Only after nag is successful, we can think of IR CCMs and the IRST on LCA Mk2.

Just 3 new light weight Precision universal glide bomb and a light cruise missile developed by BEL and other Indian companies.
The bombs can be fitted with multiband RF seekers. 450 Kg Waghantak bomb has composite body and can be released from 12 KM height. It can glide 154 KM and penetrate target with precision. Not much detail is available for cruise missile.

This is a great achievement. Rather than armed forces coming up with requirement and DRDO taking up project, public sector along with industry is now develops product and offers it to domestic customers and international customer is just great.
