But how did both BabaBanaras and ANI make the same error of stating that the test was conducted in Balasore (as opposed to Pokhran)? DRDO press release was clear that it was Pokhran!
So, BabaBanaras doesn't have any exclusive source......he's just sourcing from other news agencies (probably ANI itself). Not sure about the tweet's timestamps though!
Maybe the guy is part of ANI, therefore has access to the news which comes on the news wire before getting published.

Not all news is published on ani twitter feed, some news also doesn’t make it to the website because of lack of verification from multiple sources.

Pinaka MK-1 & II rockets have the same caliber i.e. 214 mm. They can be fired from the same launcher. The guided Pinaka which is based on the Mk-II obviously can also be launched from a standard Pinaka MBRL

I thought it was fire-&-forget!
MPATGM is also fire and forget. Why did you think otherwise?

Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) is a third generation (IIR Seeker facilitating fire and forget) ATGM with ‘Fire and Forget’ and ‘Top Attack’ capabilities, which can be used by day and night. The missile is designed and developed for deployment by Infantry and Parachute Battalions of the Indian Army. It is intended to be a replacement for second generation MILAN & Konkurs ATGMs, in service with the Indian Army.

Twin Success for Man Portable Anti Tank Guided Missile
Posted On: 14 MAR 2019 5:07PM by PIB Delhi

In a major boost for Army, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test fired indigenously developed, low weight, fire and forget Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) for the second time today in the ranges of Rajasthan desert. MPATGM is incorporated with advanced features including state-of-the-art Imaging Infrared Radar (IIR) Seeker with integrated avionics. The first test was conducted on 13th March 2019. In both the missions, the missiles hit the designated targets precisely at different ranges. All the mission objectives have been met.

Because of the tweet's wording...
Being based on NAG it'd have to be the same F&F tech, just downsized.
Otherwise a laser etc. guided ATGM couldn't have been based on NAG but a completely new ATGM as a whole.
DRDO's year book says that has 'Fire and Forget' capabilities.
Not sure if that rules out laser guided part. Would be awesome to have both!
