if you have the orignal small size image. open in irfan view and change size by increasing pixel per inch, that way you wont loose much (slightly less pixelation) during image zoomThe clue lies in the top right picture
It shows a missile section being loaded.
The thing is a carrier cannister for field replaceable warheads for prithvi missiles.
I heard the system has (is) been extended for other missile systems.
It's already zoomed as much as possibleif you have the orignal small size image. open in irfan view and change size by increasing pixel per inch, that way you wont loose much (slightly less pixelation) during image zoom
cool !It's already zoomed as much as possible
Original pic very low resolution.
The Prithvi warhead section is visible in the top right pic.
Each vehicle carries 4 such cannisters , they all are armoured and temperature controlled and pressurized to keep the warhead functional during storage and transport in operational conditions.
It takes < 5 minutes to swap the warheads on the Prithvi missile in field conditions with minimum logistics.
They are integral to the Prithvi group.
Interesting part is it allows India the flexibility to swap between conventional and strategic warheads on the go as per operational requirements in the area of active deployment itself.
One moment it can fire conventional warheads next moment it can fire nukes if so desired.

For submarine navigation, perhaps? (maybe even for ships)Because they only have the technical capability to do so...
In all probability yes, also probably the Swathi WLR as well.
Possibly. For submarine navigation, perhaps? (maybe even for ships)
Large whales do give false positive signals on submarine/ship sonars.
