India orders Spike ATGMs , Spike SR versions ??

The Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has signed a contract worth INR2.87 billion (USD34.7 million) with Kalyani Rafael Advanced Systems Pvt Ltd (KRAS) to deliver an unknown number of Spike anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) to the Indian Armed Forces, Rudra B Jadeja, managing director and CEO of KRAS, told Janes on 31 August.

This is repeat order of Spike LR in all probability.

This is a repeat order of 2020 in all probability. So the chances of LR is high. No new deal has yet been signed with Rafael for MR version AFAIK.

Last order is for MR, I come to to consulsion of numbers from rough estimation from last German spike deal, the previous spike deal is for 12 launcher and 240 missiles for 200 cores
( number of lunchers is uncertain )

its air launched one , could be to have more internal fuel for same length since no constraint of cannister size.

This is air launched version. So for optimization of air intake, it has been developed as pitot intake rather then Submerged or NACA type.

The ground launched version would have the Submerged intake.
