AU-220 BaikalI wonder why the old AZP S-60 derived ZIF-72 are at now... might be a good idea to develop a new solution around it.

Yeah, I was in love with the Kinzhal turret... but Ruskis won't be able to supply anything anytime soon. Plus it needs redesigning.AU-220 Baikal

Number is 6 and evaluation is probably by end of this yearWhen can we expect for user evaluation to complete
When it comes to defending against MLRS/ artillery shells/ mortars, I'll take the 200 (more like 50 if the rate of fire is set at 3000 rpm) dumb rounds over 5 smart ones any day of the week.200 dumb rounds vs 4 to 6 airburst rounds with 150 submunitions each... You do the math.
Lch luh lsp have been ordered bigger order wont come before 2024 and dac has cleared 307 atags but no orders yet for the rest nil infoGuys I have after many days and I thought to ask this question but I kept hesitating for folks being sad but

Regarding integration of atgm in dhruv and lchLch luh lsp have been ordered bigger order wont come before 2024 and dac has cleared 307 atags but no orders yet for the rest nil info
Because then they'll need to develop a whole new mount and traverse - elevation mechanism for that, coz there's no existing example of ground mounted GSh-23 they can copy.
Part and parcel of license production. One of my eternal questions... why isn't GSh-23 mated with EO/FCR for C-RAMU application
Mate your drawing holds no value unless you come up with details on how you are re -placing humongous feeder mechanism in Kestrel. Even if you managed to redesign the magazine and shell collection module, no way Kestrel shall be able to come up with volume to house it.You can't believe how lazy people here are
It took me hardly 2 minutes to come up with this. Nothing ground breaking, nothing advanced and the whole thing composed of sub-systems we already have with us.

But the best they did was simply take this whole assembly...

Arre ChaCha, aap phir bhawnaon me beh gayein.
When we needed a ship based gun system (CRN-91) we simply pasted the turret of BMP-2 on a ship and when we needed a C-RAM we pasted the whole AK-630 on a truck; this the level of innovation here and you think they can copy an experimental Soviet design just by looking at a grainy picture!?there's no existing example (here in India with them that they can reverse engineer)
Your original statement..Arre ChaCha, aap phir bhawnaon me beh gayein.
I know there have been modifications to BMPs and BMDs to mount Gsh-23-2. And not just that but even GSh-30 too.
So the answer is, there exist an example of ground based GSh-23Because then they'll need to develop a whole new mount and traverse - elevation mechanism for that, coz there's no existing example of ground mounted GSh-23 they can copy.
This part I already covered in the relevant querry. When we needed a ship based gun system (CRN-91) we simply pasted the turret of BMP-2 on a ship and when we needed a C-RAM we pasted the whole AK-630 on a truck; this the level of innovation here and you think they can copy an experimental Soviet design just by looking at a grainy picture!?
What if I had added "in India" after existing example in that original message only?Your original statement..

Nah, your design is not practicable for the simple reason that there is not enough room in the hulls of any of the existing armored vehicles to house the entire system. A much better solution would be to mount it on a trailer, just like the Americans did with C-RAM.You can't believe how lazy people here are

Dude, give up, if you can't tell it already, you are debating with an esteemed member of the "Jay-ho gang" as @COLDHEARTED AVIATOR would say. What if I had added "in India" after existing example in that original message only?
What would have been your response then mate!?

Right now I'd say, you should have done it.What if I had added "in India" after existing example in that original message only?

In our case, we needBut bottom line is, you don't need any product to exist in your home to draw inspiration from.
Don't you think there should be some difference between 23×152mmB and 23×115mmWe are operating Shilka which is based on same 23 mm caliber.
