Agreed. But why it is not mentioned in official brochure? Kalyani is a private company and I believe babudom has not creeped into their PR department.
Why this 4.8 ton only appears in media reports and not on their official website?
That quote from KSSL official site. I believe the page from you posted figure is referring clearing to mainly steel/some Ti version(heavy). Why light version is not mentioned is beyond me. But what I have seen is all Indian private companies which are working defense space(Godrej, Titagarh , KSSL, Tata etc.) have very vague information. Dunno is its by design or general lackadaisical attitude towards PR.

One thing its sure that titanium variant will be a logistic nightmare for I.A during conflicts due to price of tatnium parts despite its light weight, and India is an importer of titanium, replacing parts during failures will be difficult.
Russia could be good source for it. Anyways Titanium is sourced for many places in many industries by India(aerospace, tools, steel etc). Mantainance of limited no of artillery should not be big deal for India with little careful planning.

Actually, Baba Kalyani spoke about this issue in an interview. In India we have a good amount of Titanium reserve but due to Red Tape only a PSU is taking the ore. Also, we also send raw titanium to Russia to make finished products.

Read again. I have quoted the the 18 ton weight for MArG-BR which is 39 cal gun. So in that case even the 39 caliber gun along weighs 8 tons. This is understandable as its a steel version. Now I am asking how a 8 ton gun qualifies for ULH category.

Uncle Sam modified the 8 ton M198 keeping the whole mechanism intact and gave a 4 ton ULH. Our Baba uprated the 39 cal 4 ton ULH to 52 cal with double the weight and still calling it ULH.
You are nt admiting mistake here . When you said kalyani marg br is 18 tons , you thought its the weight of towed artillery . Because No sane person ll compare weight of truck mounted system with a towed artillery .

Now you have problem with weight of steel version . I dont know 6.8 tons is ULH or not . But its not 11 tons or 18 tons . May be it was supposed to be fitted with truck .

M777 is made with titanium alloy . Just like kalyani ulh titanium version .

How importing titanium is more difficult than , importing the whole artillery made with titanium ?

As per Ajaya shukla kalyani exporting 155×39 truck mounted artillery to Armenia . Around 4/5 regiments . Its marg br / TC 20 , if his information is right .

TC-20 Platform. Late CDS Rawat Ji asked KSSL to build this particular prototype.

Atleast some Generals in Armenia saw the potential and ordered it. Meanwhile IA -- :creepy:

It's basically mountain artillery system of kssl mounted on truck right ?
Yeah . As per Ajaya shukla . Nothing official . I am not aware of any other truck mounted 155×39 with kssl .
