250km missile caught my eye . Along with that it mentions about loitering munitions , swarm drone ,
new generation mines , 150km guided pinaka, drone based mine detection and neutralization etc .
Let's see how much of them turns into reality
But I didn't understand this 300 crore ruppee is for buying stuffs right then what it has to do with development of following items
Does it mean are they gonna buy those things in 300 crore rupee i.e those companies have developed those ?

It has nothing to do with development . If the order value is less than rs300 crore they can buy without much delay in procurement process .

Yeah even that point has to be taken care of
But bro can't we modify gearbox to our requirement if needed and use in older ship
Consider as noob only having basic knowledge
No. Better to design from scratch instead of modifying. Gearbox is highly specific to application. Anyways, this gearbox is likely only on P-17A and Vikrant class since they are currently the only ships using LM2500 GT, which this gearbox is likely designed for. Future ships will mostly have LM2500 or MT30 maybe. Until we get IEP that is. Then it is bye bye to gearboxes. Now that I think about it, we will likely only switch to MT30 to take advantage of IEP. So only LM2500 ships will have Indian gearboxes.

LM2500 are also used onboard the Shivalik class frigates

If you think Indian Navy will allow a new product on its frontline ship it ain't going to happen . Elecon went through trial by fire before Navy gave them go ahead .In a way Navy is very risk averse . I hope Elecon and Benaras locomotive works can marinise the locomotive engine in WAP11. Frankly I am disappointed such an attempt has not been made yet

???
WAP-11 sounds like an AC loco, not a diesel-electric.

Meant the V16 ALCO diesel engine license produced by BLW
Oh.....but AFAIK, locos use four-stroke engines while ships use two-stroke ones. Not sure about warships though.
EDIT: Scratch that, I just checked, Nilgiri class uses CODAG and its diesels are four-stroke. Only commercial container ships and bulk carriers must use 2-stroke ones then.

We need more such startups specially for aero engines
Looking at vikrant truly gives the vibe of a well constructed uniform and modern aircraft carrier unlike vikramaditya which looks like a jhopadi chawl carrier.

Bar submarines we have already surpassed the Russians in building world class surface capital ships.

You have to consider the maritime grade qualities of the gearbox or engine and fully test them out before you put it on a warship. The engine and gearbox are the heart and soul of the warship. The last thing you want is a ship to go dead on the high seas and be completely at the mercy of the elements. Of course you do not want to take any chance with your engines & gearboxes. They must be completely reliable and trustworthy.

Yes with the exception of submarines (we will gain that capability in about 5- 10 years) we, India, can build any class of warships up to 55k ton. For 65k ton or above, we need to invest in bigger drydocks, maritime designing bureaus, a ship testing facility for hydrologic and hydronamic feasibility studies.
