IMO, the whole system apart from the Motors would be under BHEL SOW. ToT would be for the motors. Manufacturing would be done by BHEL for the motors and converters.

Yes. But IEP is something first for us. So I don't think BHEL would go with their own design here. GE boasts of having the most silent motor in the segment. So a silent induction motor would be first for us.

Only designers can answer this.
This induction motor part also is from what I've heard and learned. PMSM needs a drive to start up and GE IEEP solution is devoid of any drive through the ship structure. So logically it should be induction motor.
