How is MRPKS different from the Guided Pinaka ?
As far as I have come to understand MRPKS is a lighter system based on a 4*4 chassis to ease the mobility at high altitude and the twisting turning roads found there and this system will be better at targeting adversaries that are based at the foot of the mountain who are normally protected by normal MBRL as they follow a ballistic trajectory so it is difficult to accurately target these specifically located enemies.

While the Guided Pinaka is a furthur upgrade of the Pinaka MBRL based on an 8*8 to improve its accuracy

Meaning pls explain for us non military enthusiats?
MBDA has two different entities. MBDA France, which makes Meteor and MBDA UK, which makes ASRAAM.

Now MBDA France is not doing any JV in India, but its MBDA UK which has previously stated that they want to develop a contemporary missile like Meteor with DRDO. For ASRAAM too, its MBDA UK which has formed the JV.

As Meteor is a 50% UK share, it is probably also built in UK. I'm not sure.

MBDA France always built MICA, Exocet, MISTRAL, SCALP and SCALP naval.

MBDA has confirmed plans to invest in a joint missile manufacturing facility with India's state-owned Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL).
An MBDA spokesperson told Janes that the proposed ‘final assembly, integration, and test' (FAIT) facility will be established within BDL's existing manufacturing complex in Hyderabad. The spokesperson did not disclose the value of the investment but said it is “significant”.

The ASRAAM was selected by India under a USD250 million contract announced in 2014. Under the deal, the ASRAAM will equip the Indian Air Force's (IAF's) upgraded SEPECAT Jaguar fighter aircraft fleet. In service with the IAF, the ASRAAM is known as the New Generation Close Combat Missile (NGCCM).

The MBDA spokesperson said the FAIT has the potential to also provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the ASRAAM. In the future, the facility could also carry out FAIT services in support of MBDA's Common Anti Air Modular Missile (CAMM).

Mahindra Aerostructures to manufacture B737 plane's inlet outer barrel components

IBEF: August 24, 2021

According to a statement released by Boeing on Monday, Mahindra Aerostructures has been granted a contract to produce intake outer barrel components and sub-assemblies for the B737 aircraft and ship them to Boeing's facilities in the United States. The inlet duct of an aircraft engine regulates the flow of air before it enters the compressor.

According to a statement from Mahindra Aerostructures, manufacture of the components and subassemblies will begin in 2023, and they will be delivered directly to Boeing facilities in the United States under the new contract.

It indicated that deliveries would scale up in tandem with Boeing's planned increase in B737 manufacturing.

“Boeing expects the best, and this contract win is a tribute to our on-time delivery and high-quality performance, which we maintained even during the pandemic,” said Mr. Arvind Mehra, Mahindra Aerostructures' managing director and CEO
