28.01.2015 CyberBerkut gained access to Ukrainian Military Attorney's PC
КиберБеркут | CyberBerkut
In the Southeast the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defeated again. The adventurous attack of the Ukrainian forces in Donetsk was interrupted and totally wrecked by the militia. A huge group of the Ukrainian troops got into a trap near Debaltsevo. And it can be eliminated soon.
The price of "the Blitzkrieg" is heavy: during two last weeks the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 1100 soldiers, above 100 tanks. Dozens of soldiers and officers have been captured by the guardians of Donbass. Now these scary numbers are the greatest secrets of the Kiev junta. The leadership of the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Defense and the President Poroshenko spare no efforts to convince public opinion of Ukraine that "there are no casualties", "enemy is defeated", and "thousands of terrorists are eliminated".

But the reality is different: the forces are demoralized and surrender, there are no reserves, mobilization makes no progress, and conscripts run away to Russia and to the West. The leadership of the so-called Antiterrorist Operation is in panic, it makes crazy orders, forms anti-retreat forces in a rear, send unskilled recruits to attack highly-trained militia's defense. At the same time criminal commanders are first to run from the battlefield and prosecutors make for themselves certificates of warfare participants and get benefits for it. Moreover, the population of the nearby combat territories suffers from deserters and looters, maniacs and murderers wearing uniform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces!

The order of Lieutenant-General S.N. Popko, the first deputy head of the Antiterrorist center at the Ukrainian Security Council (the Commander of the ATO in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions).

@arpakola To hack the system is impossible, because it is not connected to the Internet. This communication system "Dnipro"(Dnepr), which operates completely autonomously. I have come across during services.

That is why I say - let them write immediately that loss million.

Of course it helped that one of those Russians was my colleague who had lived in Finland for two years and could speak freely. He had also changed his mind: in the autumn he said that Russia has done right.
Or, they said it to stop you from humming your all too familiar hackneyed phrases.

Duma May Condemn German Annexation of East Germany
Russian Dig: Duma May Condemn German Annexation of East Germany - Russia Insider
Russian lawmakers said Wednesday that they will discuss a proposal to condemn West Germany's "annexation" of East Germany.

Sergei Naryshkin, the speaker of the State Duma, ordered the lower house of parliament's international affairs committee to look into the proposal from a Communist Party deputy, Russian news agencies reported.

The deputy, Nikolai Ivanov, said that the committee should prepare a declaration that condemns the annexation of the German Democratic Republic by West Germany. "Other than in Crimea, no public referendum was held in the GDR," Ivanov said according to the Duma's homepage.

Moscow made Crimea a part of the Russian Federation in March, after a controversial referendum that was condemned by the West for being held under the presence of Russian troops.

Naryshkin has said that it would be wrong to compare German unification with Crimea.

"By the logic of those who call (Crimea) an annexation, you can easily say that the Federal Republic of Germany annexed the German Democratic Republic," Naryshkin said on Sunday. He added that Russia was against such logic, the RIA Novosti state news agency reported.

East and West Germany unified in 1990, one year after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. The unification was explicitly approved by the Soviet Union and the Western allied powers who had overseen Germany's partition during the Cold War.

Seven Reasons the U.S. Shouldn't Help Ukraine's Fight With Russia

www.newsweek.com/seven-reasons-us-shouldnt-help-ukraines-fight-russia-303002

Ukraine's military has lost control of the Donetsk airport, and the rebels have launched another offensive. Fortune could yet smile upon Kiev, but as long as Russia is determined not to let the separatists fail, Ukraine's efforts likely will be for naught.

As I pointed out on Forbes.com, "Only a negotiated settlement, no matter how unsatisfying, offers a possible resolution of the conflict. The alternative may be the collapse of the Ukrainian state and long-term confrontation between the West and Russia."

Ukraine's most fervent advocates assume anyone not ready to commit self-immolation on Kiev's behalf must be a Russian agent. However, there are numerous good reasons for Washington to avoid the fight.

Try Newsweek for only $1.25 per week

1) Russia isn't Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan or Libya.

While the Obama administration has resisted proposals for military confrontation with Moscow, a gaggle of ivory tower warriors has pushed to arm Ukraine, bring Kiev into NATO and station U.S. men and planes in Ukraine. These steps could lead to war.

Americans have come to expect easy victories. However, Russia would be no pushover. In particular, Moscow has a full range of nuclear weapons, which it could use to respond to allied conventional superiority.

2) Moscow has more at stake than the West in Ukraine.

Ukraine matters far more to Moscow than to Washington. Thus, the former will devote far greater resources and take far greater risks than the allies will. The Putin government already has accepted financial losses, economic isolation, human casualties and political hostility.

3) Alliances should enhance U.S. security, not provide foreign charity.

It's impossible to blame Ukraine for wanting the West to protect it. But it makes no sense for the allies to do so. Adding Ukraine to NATO would dramatically degrade U.S. security by transforming a minor conflict irrelevant to Washington into a military dispute between America and Russia.

4) Security guarantees and alliance commitments often spread rather than deter conflict.

NATO advocates presume that membership would dissuade Russia from taking military action. Alas, deterrence often fails. In World War I alliances become transmission belts of war.

5) U.S. foreign policy should be based on the interest of America, not other nations.

The greatest distortion to U.S. foreign policy may come from ethnic lobbying. There's nothing wrong with having affection for one's ancestral homeland, like Ukraine. But U.S. foreign policy should be designed to benefit America, not other nations.

Some advocates for Kiev argue that Ukraine deserves support since France helped the American colonists win their independence. But France intervened in the American Revolution because Paris believed it was in France's interest to weaken Britain. Going to war with Moscow would offer Americans no similar benefit.

6) It's Europe's turn to act.

If Ukraine matters geopolitically, it is to Europe. But most NATO members continue to shrink their militaries. It is time Europe did the military heavy lifting.

7) A negotiated settlement is the only solution.

Unfortunately, weaker parties often must make accommodations. During the Cold War, Finland maintained its domestic liberties by not antagonizing the Soviet Union.

The world is similarly unfair to Ukraine today. Military victory is unlikely. Stalemate threatens Ukraine with economic crisis.

The allies hope that sanctions will force Russia to concede. But Vladimir Putin won't retreat voluntarily.

Massive public discontent could spark a popular revolution. However, foreign penalties more often cause people to rally around their governments. As of last month, Putin's popularity was at 85 percent.

Moreover, the prospect of Weimar Russia should cause Ukrainians and their friends in the West to be careful what they wish for. A Russia in crisis likely would not be democratic and docile.

Moscow could say no. If so, it is better to find out now than to do so only after suffering through an extended Cold War lite.

The Ukraine-Russia conflict is an unnecessary tragedy. Thankfully, the ongoing battle doesn't much threaten America. However, the only ending in something other than disaster is likely to come through negotiation. Instead of acting as a belligerent party, Washington should focus on shaping a diplomatic solution.

Re: Seven Reasons the U.S. Shouldn't Help Ukraine's Fight With Russia

If we forget Geopolitics, it all comes to the standard of living. Ukraine is 83rd in human development index, Russia 57, EU countries are in the top 30, Poland 35. During Soviet times Poland and Ukraine were at same level, now Poland is in a completely different level. Every country and person deserves the change to develop to a better living standard. EU can give it to Ukraine, Russia cannot. Just for comparison India is at 135.

USA and EU wants both Russia and Ukraine to develop, Russia took to the gun instead... This whole confrontation is like comparing: "would you rather have ebola or normal flu".

Putin Discusses Worsening Situation in SE Ukraine With Security Council
MOSCOW, January 30 (Sputnik) — A trolleybus has come under massive fire at a stop on Matrosov avenue, according to Donetsk authorities.
The city's cultural centre has also come under mortar shelling.

At least 12 were killed both in the trolleybus and Donetsk city's centre shelling.

Fierce fighting between independence supporters and government troops in the region has already killed dozens and wounded over a hundred in the past week. At least 30 civilians were killed Saturday in a series of artillery attacks on the port city of Mariupol, with both sides trading blame for the violence.

At least 27 people died last week in attacks on the city of Donetsk, which has been under Ukrainian army rocket fire over the past few months.

Last spring, Kiev launched a military operation in southeastern Ukraine in response to local residents' refusal to recognize the new coup-installed government. A ceasefire agreement has been reached since then, but fighting continues in the region, leading to more civilian casualties.
The United Nations estimates that over 5,000 have been killed in the fighting, while some 1.4 million residents of southeastern Ukraine desperately need humanitarian assistance. According to the World Health Organization, hostilities have destroyed or led to the closure of half of the health care facilities in eastern Ukraine and over 70 percent of health workers have fled the region.
