The warhead of the rocket carries the elements. This metal balls. They hit the aircraft. You look like can be confused with breaks from the bullets. Su-25 is not aised to such a height that flew Boeing. It is only capable of Buk or S-300, MiG-29, Su-27.
For an exploding bomb, debris and fragments fly in all directions, and if they do penetrate the target, the holes' profiles will indicate multiple directions, and some will be circular holes, and some will be oblate.

The jury is out.

The militants now control this territory. There is not shoot. With the help of Russian troops, they pushed the Ukrainian army from the crash site. Let go the experts to the point of falling.

Special Report: Flaws found in Ukraine's probe of Maidan massacre

In April, prosecutors arrested three suspects, members of an elite unit within the "Berkut" riot police. Senior among them was Dmytro Sadovnyk, 38, a decorated commander, who was accused of ordering his men to fire on the crowds on the morning of Feb. 20. The three stand accused of massacring 39 unarmed protesters.

On Sept. 19, the case took a turn when a judge released Sadovnyk into house arrest – and, two weeks later, he went missing.

Maidan activists were outraged, convinced that a corrupt system had let a killer escape. The judge was placed under investigation. The prosecutor said in a statement: "D. Sadovnyk, suspected of committing an extremely grievous crime, aiming to avoid punishment, disappeared from his place of permanent residence."

But in a country where justice often isn't blind, there's another possibility: Sadovnyk was being framed, and saw flight as his best option. In court last month, he called the case against him "a political lynching." In the days before he vanished, his wife and his lawyer say, Sadovnyk and his family received death threats.

A Reuters examination of Ukraine's probes into the Maidan shootings - based on interviews with prosecutors, defence attorneys, protesters, police officers and legal experts – has uncovered serious flaws in the case against Sadovnyk and the other two Berkut officers.

Among the evidence presented against Sadovnyk was a photograph. Prosecutors say it shows him near Kiev's Independence Square on Feb. 20, wearing a mask and holding a rifle with two hands, his fingers clearly visible.

The problem: Sadovnyk doesn't have two hands. His right hand, his wife told Reuters, was blown off by a grenade in a training accident six years ago. As prosecutors introduced the image at a hearing in April, said Yuliya Sadovnyk, her husband removed a glove and displayed his stump to the courtroom.

"He can't really shoot," said Serhiy Vilkov, Sadovnyk's lawyer. "To blame him for the crime is a political game."
So, Russia was right. So was RT. Berkut was being falsely blamed for the Kiev sniper attack which was carried out by others. It is worth mentioning, most of the western news sites were also wrong.

How did Reuters manage to show a glimmer of truth?

Don't worry. The truth cannot be hidden forever. We shall see who really shot down that Malaysian airliner.

: The IMF's New Cold War Loan to Ukraine

September 9, 2014

By Michael Hudson

In April 2014, fresh from riots in Maidan Square and the February 22 coup, and less than a month before the May 2 massacre in Odessa, the IMF approved a $17 billion loan program to Ukraine's junta. Normal IMF practice is to lend only up to twice a country's quote in one year. This was eight times as high.

Four months later, on August 29, just as Kiev began losing its attempt at ethnic cleansing against the eastern Donbas region, the IMF signed off on the first loan ever to a side engaged in a civil war, not to mention rife with insider capital flight and a collapsing balance of payments. Based on fictitiously trouble-free projections of the ability to pay, the loan supported Ukraine's hernia currency long enough to enable the oligarchs' banks to move their money quickly into Western hard-currency accounts before the hernia plunged further and was worth even fewer euros and dollars.

Ukrainian troops continue fighting against Novorossia Rebel Army, in this case for the control of the Donetsk airport. Watch as the Ukrainian army drop multiple rockets on Novorossia controlled territory, and one commander doesn't even flinch while others run for their lives. This guy is one seriously badass dude!

Ukrainian Defense Minister resigns, Poroshenko to announce another candidate

Ukrainian Defense Minister Valery Geletey has officially stepped down with President Petro Poroshenko accepting his resignation. The Ukrainian leader is expected to announce a candidate for a new Defense Minister on Monday.

Poroshenko hopes the country's Parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, will support the candidacy he will propose and a new Defense Minister will be appointed as soon as on Tuesday, Oct.14, a statement on the Presidential official website said.

Valery Geletey, who has served as the country's Defense Minister since July 3, 2014, filed a resignation report back on Friday.

He has recently faced harsh criticism over Kiev's anti-terrorist operation failures in south-east Ukraine, particularly in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Earlier in August, hundreds of protesters in Kiev, many of whom were mothers and wives of the soldiers involved in the fighting in Donetsk and Lugansk, demanded Geletey's resignation.

As a Defense Minister he has also been part of several scandals.

Geletey threatened to file a law suit against Yulia Timoshenko, who accused him in selling weapons to militants in Donetsk and Lugansk.

In September, he also accused Russia of using tactical nuclear weapons against Kiev army fighters. This sparked sarcastic comments from Moscow and criticism from the rival Ukrainian Interior Ministry.

The Ukrainian general himself later denied the nuclear allegations, saying that the journalist had misinterpreted his words.

In early October, Russia's top Investigative Agency launched a criminal case against Geletey over murder accusations, the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare and genocide.

Note: @pmaitra you might remember this guy as the joker who signed his oath as defense minister using a capped pen
And he had also proclaimed that there will be a victory parade in Sevastopol. :hmm:

@Razor,

I think Poroshenko is trying to get rid of all those that hold the interests of whatever is left of Ukraine second to some other interests.

The point is not that he is a chocolate seller. The point is that he has made a lot of wealth selling chocolates. In other words, he is not an idiot like Saakashvili, or at least, that is the impression I have of him at this point in time.

One cannot, however, predict the repercussions, from the Yatz camp, or the Ukro-Nazi camp, mainly the latter, on whose blood and gore, the chocolate seller got to warm the President's seat in the first place.

Valery Geletey is not a professional military. He made his career in the police and SBU. Too many mistakes in logistic the army. It was criticized a lot in the country.

So, how did he manage to get into such a high post?

Normally, people need to rise through the ranks. Is it nepotism?

It is well known that MH-17 was descending from it's 30+ height and Su-25 was climbing above towards 10000. Why is it not possible for the fighter to shoot it down ?? Btw, those holes do not look like metal ball holes...rather they very much resemble bullet holes.

Not only that, if the plane was shot down by a BUK, there would not be time for anyone to even think about oxygen masks.
