Democracy in Russia:
15%
- The rulers lie and steal!

85%
- And that is good!
- just let them!
- lie
- And steal:

Who would have been stupid enough to build an aircraft carrier without catapult, but a sloped runway. It reduces the payload to so small that planes can fly few times around the carrier and land back. Well Soviets could ;)

Nazi battalion "Azov" holds a "parade" in Mariupol. "Sieg Heil" song adds some touches to the portrait.

Nobody gives a fuck about if they are Nazi or whatever.
The most important thing is that they defend their country against the fake Ukainians and Russia.

Yeah, Azov have nothing to do with nazis, actually there is a lot of Ukrainians with Russian heritage in it. They did not bend to Russia, not even in the beginning...when UA was inactive. That is why they are a threat to Russian imperialism.

Also we had our own "Azov" which Russians hated.

@Gabriel92, @jouni what can I say? I congratulate you on the successful rehabilitation of Nazism in Europe.
I can understand your emotional view towards nazism, Russian people suffered hugely in WWII. Those things have nothing to do with today's politics. Russia is just finding ways to cover or justify it´s actions in Ukraine. No matter how you twist and turn it, Russia is playing game which it cannot win. Ukraine people have turned their back on Russia, not because of Nato, EU or Nazis, but because Russia annexed Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine using military force.

In the long term Russia is the loser, how long does it take before you can be a reliable partner in world stage again? Remember that winners always write the history. There are two kinds of losers: those who can take the best out of what they got and those who waste it all. For now it does not look too good for Russia.

UK, France and Germany managed well after the hang over of losing Great Power status after WWII. Russia is doing bad job at that. Just bite the bullet, Superpower days are not coming back. In the future you must develop open society which is not based on militarism, oil money wind fall and corruption. That way Russian people will prosper.

BrothersinArms:TwoKievOfficialsDefecttoFightforLugansk

Two brothers claiming to have worked for the Ukrainian state apparatus, one of them for the foreign intelligence service, and the other for the Foreign Ministry, held a press conference in Lugansk on Monday after switching sides to fight for the fledgling Lugansk People's Republic, Russia's RIA Novosti reports.
http://sputniknews.com/europe/20150615/1023397660.html

Donbass on Brink of Major War, Conflict May Escalate Any Time - DPR
Alexei Miroshnichenko and Yuri Miroshnichenko, the former stating that he had worked in the Foreign Intelligence Service and the latter that he had worked in Ukraine's embassy in France, declared their unwillingness to continue working for Kiev, saying that they could no longer tolerate what was happening to their country.

"We decided to return to our hometown," the brothers stated. "We made the decision voluntarily; we were not compelled to do so. We can no longer put up with what is happening in Ukraine. Traitors, fascists, various intelligence agents have taken up the reins of the country, and are leading it to ruin."

Alexei explained that for him, "the turning point was [finding out] that the people of Donetsk and Lugansk are being deliberately exterminated. They [Kiev authorities] do not pay attention to how many children will die. No one could have thought that such a thing could happen to our country. This is a clear policy of genocide against the people of Donbass. I consider this to be morally unacceptable, and I am not the only one."

The alleged former intelligence officer told reporters that the brothers did not transmit any intelligence-related data to LPR authorities.

Commenting on who is responsible for what they call genocide, the brothers noted that "the crimes against civilians are being committed mainly by representatives of the territorial battalions. This includes Aidar, Azov and Tornado. Innocent people are summarily shot, demeaned, and have their property taken from them. Women are raped en masse, including minors. There have been instances reported of conscripts who fled the battlefield being shot. Local branches of the 'Nova Poshta' [a Ukrainian delivery service] are crammed with property stolen from civilians."

OSCE Observers Register Over 140 Explosions Near Donetsk
Claiming to have witnessed some of the carnage with his own eyes, Alexei commented on the battalions' anarchic, completely unregulated behavior, noting that he personally had to avoid being hit by Aidar battalion vehicles three times, and on one occasion was forced into a game of chicken with one of their jeeps.

The believed former intelligence officer added that under foreign guidance, the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service has worked to "develop all sorts of reports for media consumption aimed at compromising Russia, blaming the tragedy that occurred in Ukraine on the Russian Federation. There was only one theme –that Russia is to blame for everything. The whole service was devoted to working in this direction –toward compromising the Russian side. We did not have any real hard data, but worked to ensure that in the informational sphere, Russia was displayed as the culprit."

Interesting times. I need to remind @jouni that he is no astrologer. Russia will be one of the winners of WWIII, and this war is very close now.

The West is sinking in the cesspool of its lies. The entire foundation of Western power is weak and corroded. Only military force is left. The crutch of Eastern Europe will prove to be completely inadequate. Soros is insane and old. Man like Soros will crucify Western empire.

Now, Russia has declared they will induct 40 new nuclear missiles, and NATO has started their typical post facto rationalization of their military build up along Russia's border, when ironically, NATO military buildup happened before this announcement of the induction of 40 nuclear missiles.

A typical news report from the propaganda media of a NATO country: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-33153703

These weak countries ask Usa's protection because Russia's always acting aggressively,no wonder some countries want to join NATO,so stop crying about "the imperialists are provocating and want war with russia!",this is getting boring.
Putin shouldn't play at this game, his country is in crisis, the poverty's increasing...
The number of Russians living below the poverty line rose by 3.1 million in the first quarter as the economy reeled from the plunging ruble and soaring inflation, state statistics revealed today.
"Putin, what can we do to help our people and to fight the crisis" ? "I know!! We will build 40 new nuclear missiles!!"
He doesn't care about 'em.

Never seen Russian aggression. I have seen Russia respond to NATO aggression.

Name one conflict that Russia started since 1991? Chechnya, Georgia, Dagestan, now Ukraine - all conflicts were started by the west or entities who received backing of the west.

The key here is not the conflicts started, the key is that Ukraine wants to achieve same living standards that other former Warsaw pact countries and former USSR states like Baltic countries. The only way to do that is to join/ get close to developed European countries. Russia cannot provide that. All this talk about conflict is just a smoke screen under which totalitarianism is getting stronger in Russia. Sad but true.

Junni.. hello...

A decision on the draft of the Russian Federation and Finland about the plant was made
http://ria.ru/world/20150616/1073104273.html

RIA Novosti. Political decision on a joint Russian-Finnish project for the construction of the plant was made, now it's all about the business, said Wednesday the President of Finland Sauli niinistö after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The international situation has affected our bilateral relations in trade and economic, had a direct influence. And we also discussed our trade and economic relations, joint projects. Mr. President (Vladimir Putin) has mentioned about our cooperation in the field of plant construction, we have such a joint project," — said the President of Finland.

"And now the situation is that the political forces of Finland has already expressed his point of view, in the form of a decision of Parliament. And now this case is in the hands of companies, businesses that participate in these projects," said Niinistö.

NPP "Hanhikivi-1" will be built with Russian VVER-1200 project NPP-2006 and is scheduled to begin producing electricity in 2024. The station will be located on the Hanhikivi headland in Pyhäjoki area. The project complies with the standards of the IAEA and EUR and will be adapted for the Finnish national safety requirements, which, according to experts, are the most stringent in the world.

The international division of the state Corporation "Rosatom" company "RusAtom overseas" and the customer of construction of NPP "Hanhikivi-1" company Fennovoima in 2013 signed a contract for the construction of the station. "RusAtom overseas" in 2014 I got 34% in the project. The Finnish Parliament in December 2014 by a majority vote approved the project. Fennovoima intends in June of this year to apply for a license for the station.

The government of the Russian Federation in January this year has made the project of construction of NPP "Hanhikivi-1" in the list of infrastructure projects co-financed by FNB. According to the passport of the project, the maximum amount of money allocated for its implementation, is the equivalent of 2.4 billion euros in rubles, but not more than 150 billion rubles.

NWF in March, transferred the first tranche in the amount of 57.5 billion rubles for the project of construction of NPP "Hanhikivi-1".
