I am interested about Chinese missiles, cruise and ballistic types. There were rumors of China having thousands of nukes hidden in caves.
Tiny industry low tech Iran keeps suggesting it has tens of thousands (edit or maybe just thousands) of missiles hidden underground. In prep for it's coming war with the US and Saudis.
Why wouldn't HUGE industry high tech China have hundreds of thousands or millions of missiles built?

interesting paper. CCP strategic plans and goals was really interesting. Lots of plans. Wonder if those in the Cdn gov't have any plan other than looting Canada/Canadians and getting re-elected?

Ballistic missile estimates of 1650 missiles of all BM types (another 300+ ground launched cruise missiles). Says China test launched 135 BM in 2021. Test launching 8% of inventory seems high to me.
Guess only CCP and PLAN know the real numbers.

Japan's Defense Ministry says aircraft have been observed taking off from and landing on a Chinese aircraft carrier in the Pacific Ocean near Okinawa Prefecture, southern Japan.

Ministry officials believe the Chinese military carried out a drill.

The ministry said five Chinese vessels, including the carrier Liaoning, were seen on Saturday morning in the Pacific about 260 kilometers southwest of Okidaitojima Island in the prefecture.

The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) LiaoningCarrier Strike Group is now operating in the Philippine Sea, according to Japan’s Ministry of Defense.

Meanwhile, a PLAN survey ship entered Japan’s territorial waters on Monday and two Chinese H-6 bombers flew in and out of the Pacific Ocean on Monday afternoon, according to news releases from the Joint Staff Office (JSO) in the Ministry of Defense.

At 10 a.m. on Thursday, carrier CNS Liaoning (16), accompanied by cruiser CNS Anshan (103), destroyer CNS Chengdu (120), frigate CNS Zhaozhuang (542) and fast combat support ship CNS Hulunhu (901), was sighted sailing south 440 kilometers west of Fukue Island in the East China Sea, according to a Friday release from the JSO. At 12 p.m., cruiser CNS Wuxi(104) was sighted sailing southeast in an area 420 kilometers west of Fukue Island. Wuxi then joined the Liaoning CSG and all six ships sailed south together through the Miyako Strait into the Pacific Ocean on Friday.

Liaoning launched and recovered its helicopters while in the East China Sea, according to the release from Japan’s Ministry of Defense. Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer JS Kirisame (DD-104), together with a JMSDF P-1 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) of Fleet Air Wing 4 stationed at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Honshu and a JMSDF P-3MPA of Fleet Air Wing 5 stationed at Naha Air Base, Okinawa, monitored the PLAN CSG.

1. If you review the alert from USA before the Russia-Ukraine war, i think US's inteli' system is still quite accurate, it's much better than trusting rumours from cyber.

2. For Canada related issue, if we have honeymoon with USA, our relationships with Canada and Australia would be always good; but if not, then we will have many issues with you and Aussie. USA, UK and Aus are tough ones from Five Eyes Alliance, CA and NZ are soft ones.

For most Chinese, Canada still has the best country image, so it's still the top migration destination. But the country image is somehow going down, after CA helped US to "hijack" Huawei's princess.
