My previous post meant to @Defcon 1 but anyway.
I think we call it optimization of weapon for better use, not trials which is a continuous process of any weapon system. Sometimes developer add some new features. By the way who told these are LPS of astra ?? These r production variant .
And what is this http://idrw.org/air-force-to-place-fresh-orders-for-astra-missile/
IAF ordering further Astras without any user trials? How
LSP of Tejas was never given to IAF testing without ADA scientists. Now IAF doing optimization of Tejas for better role and situation before deploying them on forward airfields ( may be done with it) and same thing is happening with Astra. It is inducted like tejas
Read the report again.

Defence Ministry and IAF have started the process of placing fresh orders for the Astra missile by end of this year or early 2020 for at least 100 units produced by defense PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL).
IAF is not ordering any further numbers as of now, but is in process of ordering. In process of ordering means to formulate the strategy around it, to formalize who would be receiving the numbers in what sequence, what would be per unit cost and all.
Its a long process and RFP would be issued for it. So as of now it is only LSP which would come into IAF. Formal induction would be there or not is different matter. Keep an eye for RFP and you would know when and how many would be ordered.

could you tell me what they going to check in user trial ?? quality of manufacturing?? that's it
Who do user trials after ordering 50 missiles ( when IAF doest know what might come ahead ) what if all 50 missiles are faulty then who will pay for it? does it sound logical for a user trial ?? better to produce 10 missiles and do a user trial? why is airforce delaying it? what if IAF reject it and DRDO have to go back to the drawing board again then what is the logic of ordering missiles.
I believe all trial and testing have done last year. IAF just ordered initially 50 to establishes a production line and check the quality or they might fire some of them for to know it well. Once 50 missiles delivered they will order in bulk

In development trial, its the development agency who dictate the test parameters. During user assisted trial too, its the agency who does and check all the parameters but is being shared with customer for their input.
In user trial its the user who dictates the parameter based on the specs provided. IAF would be providing the cost of the whole 50 LSP. Based on these, further orders would be placed.

Air-to-Air missile Astra successfully flight tested from Su-30 MKI

YASSS

This is how you tell Russia to open up R-37M and K-77M sale negotiations or risk getting knocked out of the Indian AAM market.

Once ASTRA crosses the 100 km-mark, PAF and Russia will have a lot to worry. The R-77 is already obsolete after today's test.

You are right and I accept, I was wrong that it has been inducted.
Regarding user trial they can fire as much as they want out of 50 missiles.
So as it's user trial, should we expect summer, winder, rain, evening, night, trials because these are part of user trial??
Or this missile still in development phage??
Expect trials in all possible scenario.

DRDO Sources: Third firing of Astra Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile was successfully carried out by Air Force and Defence Research and Development Organisation today. The missile hit the live aerial target near Odisha at maximum range of approximately 90 km.

When all options of import exhausted

Until unless all options to import similar missiles will exhaust. Otherwise they will keep on doing trials
Such posts don't reflect reality. IAF is not trying to import missiles similar to Astra. They have already ordered 50 and will order more soon.
