Yes. ACM Bhadauria said they are looking at 6th Gen concepts. Which is exactly what is needed. This time, it shouldn't be the same old "ASQR" crap. They need a dedicated team that shuttles between TACDE, ADA and College of Air Warfare. They need to develop the concept of a 6th Gen system of systems.

Had absolutely no idea that this was even possible for planes. How does it work?
Its sarcasm

If it is in improvemental stage than it's development is not completed yet. And if development is not completed than why this tendering? Something isn't adding up
Tendering for planks dude , that means a component is being manufactured ,not whole radar , and there are various forms of planks , planar array , Vivaldi , BOR Vivaldi etc .

Anything on fly by optic
Brochuritis is deadly for our nascent industry- let's crawl, walk, run in that order.

First focus should be on frontal VLO characteristics. Second tranche of effort on lowering per unit cost (local engines, missiles and other components if cheaper from abroad), maintenance cost and flying cost per hour. Third wave of development to look at sheilding engine exhaust for rearward stealth. 360degree LO is more important than FBO. Star wars (lasers) weapons next.

Also is FBO a revolutionary capability? I think it will only improve control sensitivity over current FBW making the plane more nimble- which is a good to have, but does nothing for stealth the primary aim. 5th gen isn't expected to be very agile with no canards etc so what aim does FBO achieve? Probably a better fit on Mk2.
