As you can clearly see, F35 despite being a Medium sized aircraft can carry either 6 AAMs or 2*AAMs and 2*2000pound bombs. In comparison, AMCA can carry either 4*AAMs only or 2*AAMs & 2*1000pound bombs or more lighter bombs.

What will happen is India wont have the capacity to destroy strong concrete bunkers etc in stealth mode because of which IAF will complain again about the weapons carrying capacity.

I wish by the time Amca comes, missile size will reduce with higher impact

What will be the cost of AMCA? South Koreans are trying for 65 million dollars.

That would be remarkable. How could they get down to $65 million flyaway cost with less than 200 on order? Super efficient production?

What is your source for that $65 million number?

By the way, the KF-X should be rolled out by the end of the month.

Usual big fluffy goal , without big export order , they should not make such big claims , but who we are to judge , good for them to have agressive goals

No our standard for non-heavy fighters is 4.. One version has 5. Might return later.

I actually wanted to know about the depth , 1000 kg bomb integration and sidekick missile bay integration rewuire depth of bay , if it is deep enough we can out missile in 3 d staggered arrangement , where one missile is somewhat above the other two , connected from bay door ,like f 35 a and c .


For now the priority is 4 missile only , but we have ahabit of expanding capability after jet us operational , example tejas started with 3 ton payload , now it's expected to have more than 4 ton capacity ,
