No other tech except engine is currently an issue for self development. It seems great idea to go for joint development but discussions, negotiations and after development contracts etc. are quite a hassle and is best to be avoided if u have capability to self develop any tech. We are quite ahead in many fields than most its just we are lacking in publicity or more to say propaganda & lobbying department as well as can't fully release info due to our world standing. Don't worry, if something really bad doesn't happen, this will change quite dramatically in couple of decades.

Regarding EW suite we have absolutely zero performance comparisons so any claims to speed up or delay production to improve it is a bit hasty IMO. I for that have to believe it is what IAF asked for till told otherwise by official sources.
the d29 is made of inputs israel and thus would be comparable to israeli ones,GaN tech is being developed so we can expect a formidable system ,developing esm with precise rwr positioning so that it could provide the emiiter location should not be very challenging, a derivative of dc maws is already being developed.

Visited porks thread on project azm , delusionality level infinite .

They claim to have tons of experienced engineer and scientist , well a elephant can be scientist in those fools , so 2 3 elephants will do for tons .

They are planning first flight of azm in 10 years and large force in 20 years , only possible if china occupy them fully .

They are dumb than a toaster
Could you post a few on Failed Terror State of Pak? Would love to see some.

Ok few points here....
1. AMCA 1:1 for stealth and design test to be ready by 2022. Metal cutting already started and first prototype is planned for first half 2024. Most tech required are already developed and can be matured with a decade and even later as improved AMCA Mk2 is already planned out for production 2034 to iron out kinks. Currently minimum 3-4 prototypes are planned.
2. AMCA won't go KF-X as TEDBF is more of KF-X which might either converge with AMCA or go for stealth in mk-2 if required.
3. Project AZM is a joke. J-31 or even move low maybe J-20 will become AZM in next 7-8 years. As no testing is required similar to block 3 of intergalactic fighter.

Lastly I believe if current government stays for one more term, there are high chances of deadline to be met or delayed at max by a year or so. Keep eye on first ground test vehicle by 2022 and rest can be seen as per that schedule and AF MK2 is 2026 for production.
In case the TEDBF goes the KFX way with a full stealth form factor later on, I'd like to see diamond shaped wings on it that go all the way back to the end of the aircraft without the use of tail planes. Canards will be junked in all likelihood and we'll probably see more pronounced chines up front. Similar to the 3B-01 model of the AMCA. Anyway, the TEDBF is a very interesting aircraft. I hope it comes to fruition.

diamond shaped ones were in consideration but becoz of lack of lift without canards(lift is required for stobar carrier operations) ,it was not continued

Not just Canards. LERX or LEVCON can also give sufficient lift for take-off from CATOBAR.

Naval Tejas MK1 having LEVCON proved its landing and take-off capability from INS Vikramaditya last year in January 2020.

TEDBF design is not finalized. ADA preference is delta canard but both are suggested to Navy as of now. Regarding stealthier Mk2, various changes will be there as IWB, serpentine intake etc. which will surely effect TWR and need additional development cycle and is quite far in future maybe 2040 and beyond. Even altogether separate engine will go in the same for proper TWR or high thrust version of RR+DRDO JV.

each mark of what?
Misread this, I think.

'TEDBF design is not finalized. ADA preference is delta canard but both are suggested to Navy as of now. Regarding stealthier Mk2...'

Reading again, I see Mk2 refers to AMCA.

TEDBF is stop gap fighter to replace Mig29k which were stuck for only being produced handful for existing Vikky and IAC1. It's surprising that its initial design of TEDBF turned out so good. If this is successful then for IAC2 (Vishal) CATOBAR career definitely the design will evolve and 5th gen AMCA iterations design will be followed.
