At least she won't be antagonistic to India. We are fine with a neutral person.
We believe USA benefits strongly by supporting India in the long term. It is a question of survival of democracy in a world turning authoritarian.
Please do your home work before coming to any conclusions.Democrats and the US left are not India friendly at al.They hate Modi and BJP.Sen Harris openly parrots Pakistani propaganda about Kashmir. She identifies with African Americans ,hardly at all with Indian Americans. It would be a grave mistake to view her as India friendly.

All hinges on Presidential debates and silent white majority for Trump. So far, Sleepy Joe is maintaining healthy lead over Trump in all opinion polls (more than Hillary during 2016 elections).

Biden election would have serious repercussion for India under Modi; under his banner, the emboldened left-liberal movement will definitely chose India as its next target rather than going for the tough one i.e. China.

There is a belief in Pakistan, that a republican president will be more accommodating to Pakistan Interests rather than a Democratic one. But Trump has been an exception one. Again If Pakistan thinks they can take Joe Biden for a ride, I believe here also there is a chance of underestimating of Political scenario.

Pakistan expected Obama to be more favorable to Pakistan, In Pakistan vs India context, But Obama did not care about Pakistan Interests, All he has done is conducting around 350 drone strikes in Pakistan, through which Pakistan had to fight some groups for over a period of time, Still Pakistan is fighting against some of the groups example, Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.

I believe Joe Biden winning will not be good for India, Joe Biden was a biggest supporter of Pakistan, If he wins, Military equipment will flow to Pakistan, Pakistan will acquire additional old F-16 which Joe Biden will support. Remember when Obama won in 2008, During Transition period he sent Joe Biden and James Jones to Pakistan , During that period these two people criticized India for not solving the Kashmir issue within a respectable time frame

If Trump win our neighbor will be in Chinese Camp before the next US Presidential election 2024,. At that time it will be irrelevant to discuss India Pakistan in a US Presidential contest, because will already be a vassal state for China. If Trump win it is good for us.

I would any day bet on Trump.

Political preferences of Indian Americans (as all Asian-Americans in general) in previous 2 US Presidential elections have always been Democratic. So Indian-Americans know more than anyone that it is the Democratic party that better serves them and US-India relations.

Now with Harris running as VP Biden has solidified not only his Indian American votes but also majority Asian American.
This election will go down to the wire.

Forget about her being India friendly. She is being touted as Black nominee rather than Indian or Asian origin nominee:

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden chooses Senator Kamala Harris for White House running mate, making her the first Black woman on a major-party U.S. presidential ticket https://t.co/AyJa5pVg2y via @jamesoliphant @josephax https://t.co/tVWtb70fCd

Does your brain work fine?

She has completely ignored her Indian ancestry. She is proudly claiming Black ancestry now because she is from Jamaica ignoring the fact her family used to own slaves there in Jamaica for farming.

My brain is working completely fine. Look at the above data about How much Indian Americans favour democrats. Doesn't matter much if Harris has married a white american or not, in the end we gotta give credit to Biden that he played his cards right.
As her father is black she'd of course claim that. Rest it is up to indian community. I was browsing through twitter & they seem to be overjoyed.

Even if joe biden wins trump single handedly have created enough troubles with Chinese which will make getting US-Sino relationship back on track very difficult.
And i don't think biden can bring anything at table which can push india towards isolation we have worked with obama we can work with this guy too.
But biden can also try to restart porki military aid.
