There is every possibility that firing is going on but the Pakis are keeping quite

Pakis put a high premium on their "Honour "

So admitting to Indian attacks is a loss of face for them

Their army is stretched beyond limit, Even for LoC deployment they have pull troops from reserves.

Being a reservist is no excuse for laxity in physical fitness.
Compare them with royal marines reserve our our own guys in the territorial army.

The low key reaction post Nagrota attack means that there wont be any retaliation.The surgical strikes failed to deter the pakis and the govt is unwilling to go up the escalation ladder.

It is better to wait and watch and trust the government and the Army

Let the Army take stock of the situation and make a fresh targetting list

Pakis are rebuilding their damaged infrastructure

Let them Invest in it ; We can dismantle it again

Army is also aware that this is just an interval

I honestly think Govt. Must enact a strong law to prevent some news channels from distorting news, broadcasting biased description, giving away armed forces and national security related news. Failing to meet this requirements will result in suspension of those media houses and public apology from them. Enough with Indian Media's anti-national, anti-majority, TRP seeking mentality. There is a certain news channel which I want to see immediately banned.

Mass Media and individual's liberty ends there where nation and society's interest begins.

No need of this..

the problem with their army is that they too carry the typical jihadi mindset, even if we retaliate and take down few of their soldiers or officers, it will have no effect...the only option left with us is to strike deep in to the hearts of their vulnerabilities, right now their assholes generals tell them to kill our soldiers if we kill their's and this not going to end, we have to start exploiting their vulnerabilities. few more bomb blast and Peshawar like attacks might divulge their attention from LOC which will give us some room to think and retaliate.

The term "poor" is used in many senses. It may be used to express sympathy, in this case, sympathy for casualties. To use the term "poor" to describe someone is not necessarily an insult, and it is a fact that a relatively smaller portion of our armed forces come from wealthy families.

3) 6lac crore worth of defense purchases from 2 decades were delayed by fat politicians which have now all been cancelled.

4) There is always a discount of 10-20-80% on defense products but seeing the past records, fat politicians never took it. Reasons you know why.

5) There is shortage of artillery hence m777 howitzers were bought with no make in India, self propelled artillery will be bought by the end of December. Dhanush has entered into service.

6) mindset of armed forces needs to change, out of box thinking is a must these days.

One more point I remember is that Parrikar said he will not remove all bottlenecks for all purchases. If all bottlenecks are removed, procurement process will have to start. May not be possible with the current budget.

This would mean that the famous red tape bueuracracy will be used to our advantage when the deal is not in our favour.
