Defense Minister LC: Donetsk militias acquired Su-25

Ignoring the fact that it was the previous regime in Ukraine that started the killing. As well as, the other "fact" that the Ukrainian Civil War was planned by some shadowy cabal, (presumably including Montgomery Burns, Rainer Wolfcastle and Krusty the Klown) of, insert your own personal conspiracy, Americans/ NATO/ the EU /"the Jews"/ Nazis, talking about Serbia, while relevant, doesn't strengthen Russia's position vis-a-vis the Ukraine.

Serbia, despite having spent most of independent existance in conflict with NATO, is next in line to join the EU.

Croatia's already in, Bosnia's application is being handled.

Anyone, who thinks the EU are some blood thirsty warmongers and not hippy, neo-socialists has 0% understanding of international politics.

The Yugoslavian states are a good example. Despite them being "less communist" than Warsaw Pact countries and, presumably, more suitable for EU membership, their civil war delayed their membership for decades. Well, except for Slovenia which wasn't so involved in the fighting in the Balkans.
