The real worrying part is the spread of the delta and delta+ variant despite the excellent vaccination rate in the UK.
Almost 70% first dose and 50% of population fully vaccinated.
Though the death rate is pretty low because of the vaccination (quite encouraging), the spread trend is quite worrying.

as long as the casualties remain low in Delta /delta plus..it will be managable but its another burden on health infra

Most of the cases are delta or delta plus. The growth in the last 3 days indicates an exponential growth in the coming days/weeks.

Our major weapon against a third wave is vaccination. Currently in the US, every COVID death is in the 'unvaccinated' lot.
Also, for God's sake, someone please control Kerala and Maharashtra.

People in UK were mindlessly attending events a few weeks back. And now they are hit again.
In Mumbai, there was a huge gathering demanding change of airport name. Ridiculous in these times.

They are having EURO matches with fully full stadiums and People are having beers in all parks and pubs while watching the matches mixing beers all over.

One of the the reason why India was given the license to manufacture vaccine by Serum was cuz we agreed to a condition that India will manufacture and export for the world nations.
That actually gave us enough pool of vaccine to save a lot of people while we worked on our own vaccines.
Indian administration knew that even if we make own vaccine these international cabal will create hurdles like in Covaxin.
India foresaw that fuckup..and agreed on a deal that will get us started on vaccine deployments.

GIving vaccine to other nation was according to the agreement and it was a win win.

This I know... My point was for sharing source code of cowin.

Between nobody cud scale as us in vaccine manufacturing.. Thats the only reason AZ had a deal with SII.

They are proposing a Covaxin booster dose for all including those who have taken Pfizer and Moderna.

Dekho kya hota hai. BB is charging more than SII for its vaccine. It either needs to reduce the price or scale up its production to match demand.

After all, it was developed in close cooperation with ICMR and GoI oversaw the development. GoI is a stakeholder here and needs to give them a little ungli from behind so that they up their game.

• Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.69%

Not only our citizens who are vaccinated with Sii Vaccine they also exported to large part of African countries under Covax program . So i read news where african union countries expressing their displeasure to Eu guys on not including SII made vaccine in the green pass list .

Even EAM Jaishankar has raised this issue on his current visit to europe , Hopefully it will be resolved by a months time .

Fuck milaards why should govt pay compensation for people who went to party and chill out without mask and got covid and died ? Why should govt pay compensation for all those groups who even today ignore wearing mask. Why should GoI pay compensation for blunders done by state govts .
