I am sorry this is absolutely absurd.

Looks like doctors are making fool of people. A CT chest is only required in severe cases where lung damage is assessed after intensive monitoring, especially patient on ventilators.

And guess what, it won’t change how the patient will be treated, findings notwithstanding.

The treatment plan remains the same. The x-ray chest which is far more cheaper and can be done on the bedside is the preferred test. Having said that nothing beats a good chest auscultation done by stethoscope.

Like I said a good hands on Doctor saves people. The chest pathophysiology leading to morphological changes that is pneumonia is an evolving complication. The treatment is supporting in nature like induced coma (central paralysis etc.), ventilator support, anti biotics to cover secondary bacterial infection, other supportive drugs, nutrition etc. Role of anti viral drugs, plasma therapy and other agent are still not standard prescribed treatment but in my personal opinion there is no harm to try them empirically.

Looks like people are being ripped off. Changes in lungs can be detected by Chest X-ray. No need to spend so much money.

Ofcourse Hospitals are doing everything to recover the money they could not make last year.

Govt last year imposed strict restrictions on Hospital after news came about charging 10 lakhs of Rs from patiends. Per day charge was fixed and all medicine and procedure cost was also limited to cheap rates.
10 day stay of one of my close relative at one Big Private Hospital in Noida costed only 2.4 lac. This included plasma twice, remdisivir 4-6 injections.

Is your daughter showing any symptoms ? If not, then do not worry until she does. Watch out for excessive crying, inability to sleep, reduced food intake, irritability followed by temperature.
Whatever virus exchange was supposed to happen between the parents and child would have long since happened before symptoms showed up for you.

I got infected through a guy who had corona but I am recovering fine. Start taking giloy juice dexamethasone vit b&c zinc tablets calcium/D3 multivitamins supplements etc.

Rest and do some yoga that's the only thing we can do but most important be positive and happy and don't take any tension.

Some things really touch a red line like the Allahabad HC ordering lockdown or SC directing Govt on how to manage Covid situation based on same frivolous PIL.

This time these farmers have done the same and then you loose any empathy for them.
