Not really, you don’t get infected like this. As a thumb rule, it’s 15 minutes at 1 metre distance to be considered as significant contact. If they gave a simple mask to everyone on train or bus (the mask helps keep the infection from spreading out of an infected person rather than protect from coming in) , it really isn’t any more of a risk than them walking together, probably a lot lesser. Disinfect the bus or train at the end of journey, you are good to go again.

It doesn't matter now. The ratio of 15min/1meter doesn't really apply in a country like India so public transportations and public places like pubs, bars, restaurants needs to be closed even after 14 April.

Unless the infected person is hugging everyone, we still will be dealing with reduced number of contacts within the danger zone. Obviously there is a risk but we will have to have many busses to make up for what one train would carry. The problem is similar, in both cases. Neither Is ideal.
