Ok guys! An important update/advice from a famous doctor of virology on how to prevent COVID-19. Entry point is the coolest part of the body which is the nasal cavity. So heat it up! How?

This virus cannot survive at temperatures above 54 degrees C. The two methods recommended are:

1. Use a hair dryer to heat up your nasal cavity. Use for 10 to 15 seconds at a time with a 5 second break. Do this for about 5 minutes. Repeat 3 to 4 times a day.
2. Use the steaming method. Like you do to ward off chest congestion. Heat water till steam is produced. Cover head with a towel and breath deeply. Do this for 3 to 5 minutes at a time. Three to four times a day. Best if you can add a drop of Eucalyptus oil to the water.

So prevention is better than cure! What are you guys doing during quarantine? This is better than doing nothing at all!

Complaint filed against Chinese President in Bihar court for ‘hatching conspiracy to spread COVID-19’

Muzaffarpur-based advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha on Monday has filed a complaint against Chinese President Xi Jinping and China’s ambassador to India Sun Weidong, in the district and sessions court, accusing them of hatching a criminal conspiracy to spread coronavirus. Later, the case was forwarded to the court of SDJM (West) for further hearing on March 24. Ojha has alleged in the complaint that the both Xi Jinping and Sun Weidong have hatched a conspiracy to eliminate the humanity through spreading coronavirus. Ojha took it seriously after the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported to the nation about 110 cases of COVID-19 including 17 foreigners in India. Ojha said that coronavirus has originated from China’s Wuhan city in December 2019 and now claimed the lives of more than thousands of persons in many countries including two in India. Alarmed at its unprecedented spreading, the WHO has already declared it a global pendemic. This is the third complaint cases filed by Ojha against any international political figure after he filed the second case against Pakistan PM Imran Khan in 2019. In the late 17 years, Ojha has filed 841 complaint cases in the court of Muzaffarpur since 2003. He filed the first complaint case against the-then Railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav when the RJD chief allegedly wanted to shift the zonal headquarter of East Central Railway (ECR) from Hajipur to another place of his choice. He said that he files complaint case wherever a statement of any public figure hurts the sentiment of both the people and the nation together

Just saw ICMR( Indian council of medical research) press conference, they are responsible for Chinese virus testing and setting up new labs.

First thing first, their Director General is an excellent leader. Kudos to him.

He has clarified many of things we are saying here. And I like the guy because he advised the private labs to do the test for free, nicely said because those testing labs were using media to pressure govt to get involve in testing.

Like: WHO guidelines of “testing testing testing” does not apply to us for now, they will be applicable when we reach stage 3.

We can’t participate in WHO clinical trials because we don’t have enough sample(patients) to supply for the trials, unlike UK FRANCE ITALY SPAIN US who are in stage 3 etc.

Our Disease surveillance system is robust, so far no scientific proof that community transfer is happening. This is based on random sampling on patients already in ICU in big govt hospitals across India. Status is updated every week.

Reagents are not the issue, they are manufactured locally. Probes are being imported from Germany. 1 million probes have been ordered.

Two machines which can do bulk testing of 1400 at a time will become online by end of the week. Ordered for more. France Spain Italy also have one or two such machines with them.

More than 11500 tests have been done so far, with existing capacity.
