These guys are National Guard which are similar to the Indian Territorial Army that’s why they look out of Shape. Most of them have full time civilian jobs and only called upon into action during emergencies, disaster relief and during war time.

No only Special Operations Forces in MoD not Internal Affairs, so no NSG, etc.
In Army itself Para SF alone is not sufficient, why not create a new Special Force (Rangers, Green Berets)?? In IAF other than Garud there has to be another dedicated SF units like JTAC, etc. Same goes with IN.

Indian Army should reactivate and re-raise old elite airborne divisions from WW2 like 44th Indian Airborne Division.

I am getting the impression that Chinese SF are worse equipped than our SF.

Couple of points, the way the PLA especially the GF refer to as "SF" wouldn't be what we'd think of as that in the "Western" sense. Most GS SOF unit are more along the lines of Commando/Rangers, they are big into raids, ambushes, LRRP etc, some of them have niche capabilities, gyrocopters, divers etc but it's not really standardized yet.. The Navy and AF units would be closer to our concept of a true SF unit.

When we fell the need of this.
Sri lankan forces has suffered huge casualties in initial and middle phase of eelam war. Their was huge budget constraints in sri Lanka.
So sri lankan army organised on guerilla type special forces.
Nsg were created after op Blue Star. Since their were huge civilians casualties. So nsg was created for urban warfare. Ssf was created after 1962 war for covert operation.
Pata sf was created after 1965 war .
Marcos was created after operation Brasstrack for landing Operation in Pakistan

Most of north korean soldiers look like from ww2.these guys are for show and most of the equipment will be smuggled for this event only.
