Bolivia a landlocked country in South America has a Navy, but that's not the craziest part!! They also have a marine corps unit!!! India with vast coastline and chains of island to upkeep still doesn't have any dedicated Marine Corps!!

Regarding Marine corps, manpower is not the problem for us. It can be raised fresh, or existing IA 2-3 Brigades/1 division can be converted into Marine Corps/naval infantry, within a very short duration, if need arises and it gets GOI nod. IA does have amphibious Brigades as of now.

The main drawback as of now is sufficient seas-based assets like LHD,LPD etc. The tender of 4 LHDs are cancelled after remaining in the reckoning for a decade.

The small country's which have marine corps, its only in the name. They only possess some small sea-faring boats and cannot be considered a full fledged Marine Corps for power projection.

Gatecrasher wall breacher. It's filled with water to dampen the backblast which also enhances its breaching on the blastfront. It'll go through up to 50cm walls depending on the charge used.
Thanks for the explanation.

I just stumbled upon something really interesting about Security Ecosystem of Indonesia. Since being an island country you would expect them to have 3 layers of maritime security (Navy, Coast Guard, Local/National Police), but no they have 12 different maritime agencies of different ministries doing the same job.
*Indonesian Navy
*Indonesian Maritime Security Agency
*Indonesian Sea and Coast Guard
*National Police Water Unit("Polair") of National police
*Directorate General of Marine and Fisheries Resources Surveillance
*Directorate General of Customs and Excise
*National Narcotics Board
*Various Federal and State agencies.
All the above Maritime Agencies have dedicated fleet of ships and their own racing stripes.
Another interesting fact is that the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency have their own infantry unit on their own, probably the only country where their Maritime Agency have their own Infantry Unit similar to Navy having Naval Infantry Unit (Marine Corps).

Other Armed Law Enforcement Agencies of Indonesia include (Not related to the thread, still)
*Indonesian National Police
*Municipal police(Local police in particular states)
*Indonesia Forest Rangers
In Indonesia the forest rangers are of two types
*POLHUT Pusat (National Forest Rangers) Federal level
*POLHUT Daerah (Regional Forest Rangers) State Level. In India despite having more forest area and more endangered species susceptible to poachers and more having more resource rich environment has only State level Forest Departments but no Central ones!!! Not to mention in Indonesia all forest rangers both National and Local carry Firearms

*Railroad police
* Apart from maritime fleet the Directorate General of Customs and Excise have decided armed companies too in land border areas and for VBSS.

Indonesia as a country has taken greater steps in protecting their country after series of terrorism activities in their country unlike India who would wait for another 26/11 to happen to take next step of countermeasures.
Plus I have not of course included the various Internal/External Intelligence agencies and their dedicated armed tactical units!!

Nepalese Army has better structured Special Operations Force than Indian Army in general.
They have split up the work according to specific needs and tasks. Definetely US military has helped them in restructuring.
There are 4 primary SFs in Special Operations Forces.
* Shree Singhanath Battalion
* Shree Bhairavnath Battalion
* Shree Yuddha Bhairav Battalion
* Shree Mahabir Battalion
